Kate and Charlie have the perfect life planned out: buying a house, marriage, kids, the whole works. Kate's fear of flying keeps her in Canada while Charlie goes to Paris for a medical convention. While there Charlie is smitten by the lovely Juliette. He calls off his wedding to Kate and she nervously boards a plane to get him back. She ends up sitting next to the petty French thief Luc Teyssier. He hides a stolen necklace and smuggled grapevine in her bag to get it through customs. Her bag is stolen, the necklace apparently lost, and Kate and Luc head to Cannes--Luc to find the necklace and Kate to get Charlie back. Along the way, Kate and Luc begin to have feelings for each other, which change the course of their lives.

I heard it’s a good movie. Gifted it to a friend. We will watch when we are both free to. Is this okay?

Good movie
I was and always will be a Meg Ryan fan. I love almost every movie she made and now own everyone of them. She is and was a very beautiful women. Kevin Kline and Jean Reno help make this a good movie.

This movie is an all time favorite! A keeper, a go to romance comedy. The acting, production and story are the best.

I watched this when it first came out loved it. I love Meg Ryan still funny lady. So don’t fester fester rot rot give it a try.

One of the best movies ever and seriously no digital options?!
This movie is so close to me heart, the script, the acting, the timing, the chemistry, it's just wonderful. It has always been one of our most quoted films since it came out. How is this not available to purchase digitally, let alone to stream on some platform, it's unbelievable to me. That being said, if anyone is needing this to stream I would recommend purchasing the BluRay and scanning it in to an app like Movies Anywhere. I mean it's a whole process I get it, but my word! Can't a girl just take her apple tv or kindle stick and watch French Kiss while traveling whenever she wants. Apparently not! So I'll just have to make it happen myself!
