nice taste protein powder
great protein, nice flavour and not too chunky or heavy. If it comes with a measure scoop would be great

Good flavour but gritty texture
I’ve tried so many different protein powders and this is my favourite. I don’t think it’s overly sweet on its own which I’m happy about because I was worried the vanilla would be too sickly. However, I have mixed this with smoothies, porridge, coffee, yogurt and more and always get that powdery gritty texture. I personally don’t mind it but I know some people prefer it to be smoother so just a warning. I also find there’s a flavour difference sometimes between each batch I order. Overall though it’s the only protein powder I’ve found that I like drinking each morning and it does give me energy so I’d say it’s quite effective in that sense. Not sure I’ve noticed a difference in other areas like skin hair and nails from the vitamins it contains but that doesn’t bother me

Questionable flavour…
I was really excited about trying this protein powder, as I’d heard so many good things about it. However, as I went to try it the first time, I was immediately overwhelmed by the bad vanilla flavour. I didn’t know it was possible to create bad tasting vanilla but this one just tastes synthetic, and I haven’t managed to hide the flavour when blending it into smoothies. However the more I have it, the more tolerable the flavour gets. Despite this, I do really like all of the added bonuses and perks that comes with having it, as I’ve been loving the ease of having additional vitamins and supplements included. Because of this, and the good amount of protein, I do feel like it’s good value for money - I’ll just try a different flavour next time

The best
I love free soul products this is one of my favourites and the first thing I’ve tried from free so I think it’s definitely helped balancing a hormones and a great addition to smoothies by highly recommend it. Just a shame as always it can be pricey and expensive to buy

Best vegan powder I've tried
I have tried many different non dairy protein powders (I find whey powder irritates my stomach although I do think it tastes better and is cheaper) but this one is by far the best I've tried to date. A lot of the other branded powders I've bought have reviews writing that the powder is 'amazing' and to my disappointment it tastes absolutely revolting. Free Soul was my last attempt at finding a decent tasting vegan powder and this didn't fail. I appreciate that we all have different perceptions and preferences to taste, but if you found Sun Warrior, Earth Champ and PHD nutrition diet plan powders disgusting, then you're in good company because I also did but Free Soul tastes ok to me. It's not the best taste in the world, but it is far easier to disguise the taste of than the other mentioned brands (I tried all in vanilla, Phd also in salted caramel, yuck). I bought the vanilla variety and use it daily in my smoothies but even with soya milk it tastes good. It still has a slight chalky aftertaste but it's much milder in taste than others I've tried and when put in a blender can become very fine and hard to notice. It also blends well with a shaker. My only criticism is that I think it's a little expensive for the amount you get but I will definitely buy it again nonetheless because unlike other major brands I've tried, I don't feel like gagging or holding my breath when I drink this!
