I recommend this autoharp
This one sounds so good and having the major chords in the center row is helpful. It's a deal at the price.

Terrible customer service
The one star rating is only because of the seller: Music Buys. Was happy to get this autoharp with excitement about the amplifier pick up. However, the E7 and E Maj chords had a metallic twang . All other chords were fine. Tried to contact the seller Music Buys several times through Amazon and other means without success. I received one form response thru Amazon re: return policies and charges. I highly recommend you do not purchase merchandise from this particular seller. They did not answer my requests to contact me about my issues. An expensive lesson learned. I will keep the autoharp, which I love, rather than pay the expensive mailing return cost and large “restocking” deductions stated in their form response. I hope an Oscar Schmidt dealer, unfortunately some distance from my home, will be able to resolve my issues. I do not recommend buying from this dealer.

Meets my expectations!
Definitely met my expectations! Rich sound and the fine tuning system is amazing. This is the electric / acoustic autoharp OS11021AE and it arrived quickly and in great (new) condition with appropriate packaging.

As described - some assembly may be required
Item arrived new and is as described. However, if you are not comfortable setting up and/or fixing the autoharp yourself, might be better to buy from a luthier or at a music shop. Many of the bars were misaligned on the comb springs and were permanently depressed out of the box. Required partial disassembly and fixing spring locations. Otherwise, instrument is fine.

Deap scratch
Amazon seller, Music Buys, will not return email about the scratch. The seller, Music Buys, was not an Oscar Schmid distributor, so no manufacture warranty.The sound is not as good has this price would reflect.Probably solvable problems if purchased through a dealer. This was an unpleasant, and expensive, lesson.

Beautiful sound
I am learning to play the autoharp with this instrument. It is lovely. Great tone, easy to tune, and beautiful to look at. We have a family music group and this is a great addition. I did buy a case and a strap to go with it. Highly recommend, particularly if you like bluegrass and folk music.
