DC Women's Search Snowboard Boot

I ordered these boots to replace my near 15 year old Burton dragons that were starting to fall apart. Living in MN for awhile now, I don't get out on the slopes much, so I was looking for a boot that was comfortable, stiff, and <$200. The reviews here encouraged me to try them out.Reading the reviews, I decided to stick to my usual size and ordered a 9.5. With a medium weight sock, the boot fits perfectly. My old boots were the lace-up style and I was always on the fence about metal laces that you ratchet up with the BOA system.I took them out last weekend for their first test run. For about 2 hours of riding, they performed pretty well. The sole does have these weird knobby things sticking out of the inner side, I'm thinking so maybe the binding doesn't rub directly on the boot? Not sure, but that added width, tiny as it is, made it so the boot almost didn't fit in the binding, but they fit, just barely. It was mid 20's out and they kept my feet warm. You can cinch these up pretty darn tight, and even if they loosen a bit, I found that it wasn't noticeable on the runs and it's just a quick couple twists to the knob to tighten them up again. I especially like how easy they are to get off, at least compared to my old boots!All in all I am happy with my purchase!

These are really great snowboard boots..They are very durable, have a lot of cushion on the inside, and are super easy to get off and on. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they are sized small. I ordered half a size up and they were still snug. I would recommend getting 1 full size bigger than your street shoe size if you want them to fit comfortably with thick socks.

Hard to say how comfy they are as they were way too small. I bought a size 8 for my daughter, her usual size. They were WAY too small- her toes hit the end. I think she would need a 9.

Girlfriend here.I got these boots since the ones at the rentals rarely came in my size with the BOA lacing and the regular laces were nearly impossible to get tight enough. Splurged and got these because I really liked the color and had everything I wanted in a pair of boots. I tested them out this past weekend.Pros:Tight fit on the ankles and a tad loose on the toes (My toes didn't get numb like they usually do with rentals)Color (Got a ton of compliments on the color and how cute they were)BOA lacing (So easy to get lacing tight enough)Fleece lining (Only wore 1 pair of socks and feet stayed nice and toasty)Weight (These felt lighter than the rentals)Comfort (Usually my feet cramp and ankles hurt like crazy half-way through the day but not with these boots)Cons:Easily stained (Got a bit of dirt on the toe side and it wouldn't come off)Cloth on the outside gets wet (The top part of the toe area got really wet with the snow, but didn't penetrate so toes stayed dry)Price (A little on the pricey side, compared to some competitors)

I really enjoyed wearing these boots. They have been the only boots that don't make my feet completely numb after a day of boarding. The only complaint that I have was there were a couple of small yellow stains on the boots, other than that they are a great buy!

This is my third pair of snowboard boots in 2 seasons because every boot left my toes painfully numb. When I saw the extra wide toe area in these DC Boots, I decided to ditch my 2nd pair of Burton's and give them a try and I am so glad I did! I have worn these boots three times and have not had my toes go numb at all. I was a little weary about this super fancy notch system to tighten the boots since I only had the speedlace pulls, however, the durability and strength surprised me from the first time I experimented with them. They are definitely not as delicate as I thought! I will try more DC Snow products since these boots did not disappoint in any way, shape or form!

These shoes fit really good, my toes rub a little bit, but I'm hoping they will stretch out once I use them a few time. They seem really comfortable and very warm, can't wait to use them!
