Chauvet H1100 Fog Machine + Wireless remote review.There are several really good and in depth reviews of these machines. I recommend reading all of them prior to purchase. I spent three days researching these machines prior to purchase.I bought two of these machines with wireless remotes, they also came with manual remote with a ten foot cord, which is a plus if you need them for any reason.I used these machines for our annual Halloween Haunted House. They work very well, produce a lot of fog. I live in Houston Texas, we got lucky and had temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s, so the fog filled our haunted house really well as opposed to hanging low to the ground like you see in colder weather or if you use a fog chiller.I did not have any problems with my machines like some of the other reviews described. I'm sure sometimes you get a defective product with anything you buy, I did not. You get what you pay for, and these machines are worth the money to me.The wireless remote can work up to four machines at once. I recommend using them, the range is incredible. I don't know what the range limit is, but my wireless remote worked fine over 120 feet away from the machines.The machines are very efficient. I used them for 4 hours straight, running them at the same time. I bought two gallons of fog fluid and only used maybe a quart, if that. I have at least a gallon and a half left over for next year.*** Only use Chauvet brand fog juice/fluid in your Chauvet Fogger. *** It's very cheap considering how long it lasts, and will not mess up your machine like the cheaper fog juice does. It also has very little to no smell and isn't toxic to breathe. I was closed in with it for 4 hours and it didn't bother me or anyone else at all.The machines work very well. They produce a ton of fog without any problems. I did test my machines first to make sure they worked prior to Halloween because other reviewers said they had problems. They are very quiet and compact for their size, and when they tell you the fog is ready in 5 minutes, it really is true, right out of the box.In our garage/driveway they worked great. I tried using them outside in the front yard without success. It was just too windy that day, and the fog blew away as fast as I could make it, so we just used them inside, however the garage was open to the outside and they still filled it nicely with thick creepy fog.You can literally make so much fog you can't see your hand in front of your face! I find using a box fan beside the machines helps to circulate the fog and cool the machines. The nozzle of the machine does get hot, and the fog is hot when it comes out of course. None of this is a problem if you simply keep the machines set back from anything or anyone they could burn. I just put both of them under a work bench with the box fan behind them and it moved the fog around and cooled the machines too.Like others have said, one of the best features of the machine is the blue LED light that lights up the fog juice tank so you can always see the fluid level. It is very important not to plug in/turn on ANY fog machine without filling the fluid tank/reservoir first.That said, these machines perform better than I expected and are solidly built. With proper cleaning and storage, they will provide me years of use. It's a good investment and great to have fog machines you can count on to work when you need them to. You can't go wrong with these machines!

My fault for not taking it out of the box to test it upon arrival... I waited to just one day before Halloween 2021 to test it, so one year of sitting in the box unopened. I took it out and put in the Chauvet fog juice and the pump would not even pump. I couldn't see any fluid in the clear tubing at all nothing no fog I could hear the pump work for a while then it started flashing blue like the tank was empty but it wasn't the pick up line was resting at the bottom of the fluid container so it should have been able to suck it up if it had been working right.

It's not like those inexpensive foggers that put out a thin cloud - this one did an excellent job and put the four cheap foggers we also had deployed for Halloween to shame.The volume and density were great - thick and almost opaque. Very nice for a cold October night...The wireless remote works nicely - the range on it is about 50-75 feet with the little antenna extended. The remote size might be a problem, though - it's really quite small (think car remote fob size) and could be easy to misplace.I'll probably get two more of these before Halloween 2013. This is definitely the best fogger I've ever used.

My son said he needed this for a school project,,ha,ha, all the teens have taken over. The house is a rockin' everyone loves it.One bully not invited claimed he was alergic and wouldn't dare come over. I thought great....only 20 in the house. The next week the kid came back with a...get a load of this...a permission slip.

The fog machine worked for about an hour during testing the day before Halloween. On Halloween it worked for about 15 minutes and then quit. I followed all the instructions in the manual and could not get it to work. Very disappointing, since we had about 200 children show up to the event and the fog was one of the main attractions. I have previously used two other fog machines, this brand an another. I have never had this issue.When trying to return the item, the number listed in the return instructions is for Washington Federal bank. I had to call Amazon and get correct instructions.I would not recommend buying from this seller. I also would not recommend buying this product.

It works! Being new to fogging, I didn't know that activating it for more than 15-20 seconds would cause it to shut down for re-heating. After seeing that this is normal, I've adjusted my expectations and find the device to be working fine. Sucks I can't keep it continuously fogging for as long as I want, but I'll get used to it.

This machine was great, but didn't work for a large space, which was our primary use.

Used for a Halloween party and worked really well. Remote is great and the machine itself is really powerful.....made so much fog we had to shut it off early!
