Very pleased with fridge/freezer
The fridge freezer works as it should, it does cycle on and off more than I would have expected, but not too much of an issue if you have the batteries/solar set up to manage. I raised a few issues with supplier in this regard and the customer service is 2nd to none, very responsive. Fridge is quite spacious and freezer compartment is adequate.

Solid performer
I dragged the AAOBOSI drawer fridge along on last weekend’s soggy dash to the coast. Rain hammered the van roof, yet my bacon, milk and a couple of cans were sitting pretty at minus three degrees, and the meat for the evening barbecue was still rock solid. The 31-litre drawer sits under the bench seat in my Transit. It glides out smoothly even when the van is on a bit of a slope, and nothing tries to escape because the organisers inside stop items sliding about. The phone application is a quiet little triumph; I nudged the temperature up to four degrees while hiking the cliffs and returned to perfectly chilled beers without touching a single button on the unit. I half expected the compressor to drone at night; instead, there is just a faint purr, quieter than the sea wind rattling the awning poles. Quick aside: it arrived in a carton that looked as though it had wrestled the courier, yet the fridge inside was unmarked. After four days on the leisure battery, using mostly the Eco setting, I still had plenty of charge left. The build feels solid, the drawer latch inspires confidence, and the long DC lead means no silly extension tricks. Great performance, tidy design, and cracking value for anyone living the van life.

Really impressed
Nothing brightens a dawn in a windswept lay-by like opening the van door to find milk still icy cold and strawberries unbruised. This 65 L AAOBOSI fridge freezer earned instant respect on our recent jaunt. We stuffed the lower compartment with sandwiches, a bag of spinach and six cans of lager, then slid a tub of mint choc ice cream into the tiny upper zone. Despite the full load, the compressor hit minus fourteen in about half an hour, quiet enough that my partner had to lean in to check it was humming. The app let me nudge the fridge section up a degree while we rattled over the hills, no faffing with buttons behind the seat. Quick aside, it arrived in a cardboard crate the size of a Dalmatian and my neighbour nicked the bubble wrap for her allotment, fair play. So, build feels solid, shelves don’t rattle, door swap was straightforward even for my dodgy screwdriver skills. The battery cut-off kicked in just as the starter motor needed juice, which saved a very awkward push-start. All told, generous space, clever control, sips power rather than guzzling it. Exactly what a camper fridge ought to be.

Amazing. Now, I'm not supposed to name competitor brands in my reviews, but because I'm rating this favorable, I think it's ok. I've owned the TB51 Truckfridge for a long time. Used it for camping, and just general picnic type days. It's a great AC/DC 12V fridge, but it's just too big. I've also had a large two zone Dometic, and that was even bigger. I wanted something smaller, lighter, and more portable, so I got this. Ok, first, the size and weight. The item is listed at 30.1 lbs, but, it felt much lighter than that to me. Weighing this on my digital scale, and with all the power cords and ac adapter inside the fridge, this comes in at a really nice weight of 26.4 lbs! It's almost 10 lbs lighter than TruckFridge's comparable TB31A, which has a similar internal capacity. I also love the internal dimensions. The TB51A is fairly tall. So, you're packing in stuff in the main compartment, and often have to dig things out. This fridge is fairly square. You can fit two 12 packs of sodas upright side by side in it. I like the flatter and squarer fridge shape. There is also a nice upper compartment, that I'm not sure if it gets colder or not. Some other pros: 1) Gets cold FAST. Went from 60F to 32F (freezing) in half an hour. 2) Gets to 0F no problem. Feels REALLY cold when it does. 3) Keeps things cold for long. I had a 12 pack and some sodas, and it ran off my 400Wh battery pack for well over 24 hours. Ran ~ 28 hours before battery pack died. To make this more efficient, though, I would run the fridge up to temp on AC power at home, then put all your cold food stuffs in, and really get it cold, then transfer it to the car and lithium ION battery. Doing this, I was able to get my Truckfridge to run 30+ hours. Runs very efficient. On eco mode, it typically draws 25 watts when it runs. Sometimes up to 40 watts for some reason, but mostly 25 watts. 4) Well designed. Love the user interface. Build construction is really nice. 5) Pricing can't be beat. Nearly half the price of a Dometic or Truckfridge. 6) Quiet. All of these DC fridges are quiet. Some unknowns: 1) Longevity. Not sure how long this compressor will last. Not sure what brand of compressor it is. But my TB51 has a German made Danfoss compressor. Those are the gold standard. All in all, watch my video review. I was gonna benchmark it against the Truckfridge, but I had seen enough and would highly recommend this over a Truckfridge or Dometic. The pricing can't be beat. Just make sure you have a good sized battery and solar to help. With a 100W portable solar panel connected to your portable lithium power station, I think you can run this fridge for days.

I like just about everything about this cooler. I live in San Diego and we are lucky to have plenty of sunshine, but going out to get groceries, take a packed lunch or camping, this unit covers them All. I use the van 12vlt while driving and carry a portable battery and that gives me a good 8 hrs. I also have a small solar panel to put on the dashboard or outside to recharge. The only thing I've had issue with is connecting the Bluetooth from my phone to the unit. It's probably me or my Internet. Don't let that stop you buying one of these units. They also have deep discounts so buy at the right time. I got this on Amazon deal days...saved a bunch.

this thing is great. have used it on 2 trips now. 4-day trip and a 6-day trip running the entire time. the 6 day trip it ran on MAX mode the entire time. Works great, held the temp to what i set it, kept everything nice and cold. Frozen items I put in at the beginning, stayed frozen for about a day and half (placed at the bottom). The 4-day trip I ran it the whole time off a Ecoflow River Pro 2 768Wh, so I kept in on ECO mode the whole time and to my surprise it worked just as good. Held a 3 degree C temp and used very minimal energy. Lasted about 72hours before i had to charge the power station. My only thing is i wish i got a bigger one. 50L is sufficient but would be nice to have some extra room for longer trips. Also, the app is great to have but it is very very basic, but it's user friendly and does what you need it to do. Now I just hope it works just as great next year after sitting all winter.
