Super excited for this cute tutu! My five-year-old daughter whole heartedly believes that she is a princess in the making. To aid in her dreams, she needs a wardrobe to match her aspirations. Every time that she sees a skirt or fluffy tutu, she asks me to purchase them. There used to be a constant struggle in our house to get her to wear anything other than a tutu. Fortunately, we have moved past this stage, and she now only wears them to dress up at home, or if there is a special event outside of the house. She has started wearing it to her summer dance lessons as well. This tutu by Simplicity is perfect. I purchased the child sized, lavender one for my daughter who is 45 pounds, and nearly 4 feet tall. The tutu fits perfect, and falls just above her knees. The tutu is comprised of 5 layers of soft polyester, and the stitching and elastic band around the top is nicely constructed too. Based on the quality of the tutu, as long as she doesn’t play to heavily in it, should last a long time. While I did receive this product at a free or reduced rate in exchange for my unbiased review, I will say that I am pleased with my purchase. My daughter loves her tutu, and is excited to add it to her collection of princess wear. If you are looking for a great gift for a little one, this tutu is perfect. The price matches the quality of the product you will receive.

Bought this for my daughters 2 yr old party. She loved it. It was a bit wider than I expected but that did not bother her. The material was good, and help up great with running, jumping and laying on floor. She loved the sparkles.

This was my first petticoat purchase and what finalized my decision to get it, is the fact that it fits such a range of children sizes. I have a 2 year old and a 6 year and the description noted it would fit to and from both ages. The first use was to fill a handmade dress that fell flat at the waste line and to the knees. I spent time fluffing the tulle out but went ahead & flipped it inside out before We tried it underneath the dress. The finished look was amazing. The 6 year old has since worn it with no complaints nor stretching any of the material at the waste

This tutu worked out perfectly for my daughter's Halloween costume. My daughter wanted to be an alien so I went on the hunt for a cute and not too expensive silver/ metallic dress or tutu or whatever to make it happen for her and I was lucky to find this tutu. The material was nice and she still uses the dress for dress up at home or at dance class all the time. It washes nice (I did hang dry it).

Good quality! Beautiful color. My daughter loves tutus and loves green! So this is now her new fave tutu! Planning to order aome on different colors. She's 5yo and hits just above her knees! Can't wait to let her wear it for St. Patrick's Day at school or any day she wishes! She will definitely look adorable. Update 3/17: She looks amazing! It was a hit on her school's St. Pat's Day- she even rode her bike after school on it, she doesn't want to take it off and it held up pretty well! If you’re worried about this not being stretchy enough for your kiddo, don’t. I ordered the 6-8 yo girls size as an adult woman and it fits me with plenty of room left to stretch! I haven’t noticed any bad smell. Be sure to hand wash it like the description says but it seems like the waistband is made well and the skirt doesn’t seem to be uneven. I bought it to run a marathon in so I’m just hoping it holds up for that!

The tutu is very cute; however after just a few months, the silver glittery pieces are coming off and the waist band is broken. Recommend only purchasing for a photo shoot, otherwise it will not last very long. I ended up ordering a higher quality replacement from Etsy.
