This little gas cylinder is perfect for a day hike or picnic, it's really robust and small enough to fit in a backpack, easily refilled and safe, good product, very happy with my purchase.

I’ve bought a few Campingmoon products in the past and have always been very impressed with the quality. This little canister is no exception - it’s beautifully machined and finished. It is quite heavy compared to a 110g propane can, but then it doesn’t need a tripod to make it stable. I found this to be perfect for one day trips on the bike; 35g of gas is plenty for a day’s water boiling.If you’re into lightweight backpacking and you have the Toaks 750ml pot and the 450ml insulated mug nested inside, then this will fit inside that with no trouble, with room for coffee/ tea bags as well.

Really well made. My top tip for people that don’t read the manual, is to put the canister in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. You will be able to fill it with more gas if you do. Also don’t lose the canister cap, you’ll need it to keep gas in it for longer. Without the cap the canister will empty itself over time.Hope that helps!

I didn't keep this as the sizing is different than listed. Actual size 6.9mm wide by about 6.5mm high. Weight 207g (a disposable 100g cannister is about 105g). Very solid feeling, but it didn't fit into the container I had planned for it so I didn't use it. Very expensive for what it is, but it does feel like it has very thick walls.

Brilliant little thing. bit heavy but very well made.

It’s heavy at 427g empty without the safety cap. But the machining is good quality. I think the constant refilling of this canister will be much safer long term than refilling a 100g isobutane. Refilling seems easy. I used an adapter to fill it with butane. Made sure to weigh the canister empty so I can keep track of how much fuel has been added. I decided to freeze the TC-35 for about 20-30 minutes before refilling as it seems the gas transfer happens more easily when it’s very cold. Tried it out with a BRS-3000t stove and it worked fine. Also of note it is closer to the size of a 227g canister. So if you’re using a smaller pot it will not fit inside. Another consideration for ultralight backpackers.

Campingmoon has an excellent line of products and this is another one of them. You just can't go wrong with a refillable tank. Especially if you purchase the adapter to fill them up from your 20lb propane tank. Do that and you save hundreds in the long run.

Funktioniert super! Einfach normale 227g Gaskartusche oben einstecken und runterdrücken. Nach 30sec ist sie voll. Beim ersten Mal muss man aufpassen, da in der Kartusche noch Luft ist, was im Betrieb zu stichflammen führen kann. Sehr robust und hochwertig verarbeitet. Fühle mich damit im Rucksack deutlich sicherer als mit einer normalen Blech-Kartusche (mir ist schonmal eine leck geschlagen). Etwas schwerer als normale Kartusche (200g Leergewicht + 32g Füllung). Habe mir diese noch dazu gekauft weil mir die 110g Kartusche von Campingmoon mit ihren 400g fürs Wandern manchmal etwas zu schwer war. Mit dem Soto Amicus reicht mir eine Füllung für zwei Tassen Kaffee + 2 Dosen Gulasch. Das schöne Design macht immer wieder Lust darauf sie zu verwenden. Passt zusammen mit dem Brenner in den 600g Becher.

Super fast delivery by Amazon. Product as described. The first thing that struck me is how well made and rugged this refillable canister is - no worries of this rusting, splitting or denting. I bought this to upgrade my Toaks 500ml cook set from alcohol to gas. This canister stows nicely in the 500ml cup/pot with enough room to accommodate a mini Bic lighter, folding spork, my BRS mico gas stove and some instant milk tea, beef cubes and wet wipes. This canister has a screw-in stabilizer which will also fit in the pot to make using a larger pan less tippy. The cartridge ha knurling on the bottom edge to assist with screwing in your stove. I tested the boil time on 400ml of water at 3:44 with this gas stove combo, versus over 6 min with the alcohol stove. This is one great piece of hiking gear that will last years and heat many a trail meal and hot drink.

The unit is an excellent way to have a gas stove at an affordable price because you can refill it with cheap butane (the aerosol can gas) instead of using those expensive camping gas cans. While I have refilled camping gas cans before, I am yet to find one that doesn't say 'DO NOT REFILL' on it. I know that is mostly to protect their profit margins but why risk it? This Camping Moon refillable cylinder takes the cost and the risk out of having fuel on hand for your adventures. It is easy to refill; the only downside is the weight but that is easily outdone by the cost savings. 35g will last a couple of days of camping cooking.
