Excellent coffee.
Very happy with this purchase, beans seem very fresh. Deep, dark and rich with chocolate notes, this is my favorite new coffee. I brewed in a drip machine and it came out perfect.

This is THE ONE!
If I were stuck on an island and had to drink one espresso for the rest of my life this would be it! I got a Breville espresso machine for my birthday from my family and we have tried 5 different espresso beans: Allegro Sierra & Bell Canto, Kicking Horse Cliff Hanger, Starbucks Dark Roast and Ethical Bean Sweet Espresso. The Bell Canto just wasn’t as good as the Sierra, too much berry flavor for us. The kicking horse is quite good and comes in big bags which helps with cost. The Ethical Bean was very herbaceous and overpowering. Starbucks sucks, it came with my gift so I used it but it has a distinct burnt flavor. If you have a suggestion for another organic espresso please comment! However, none of them compare to Allegro Sierra! The flavor isn’t overpowering but delicious. It works well for my americano and my husband’s cappuccino. Add to auto ship!

Scrumptious
Wow, the flavor is scrumptious and has a smooth bright freshness that makes you sit up and take notice. What a difference from the non-organic espresso beans I was using. No acidity whatsoever so now I can enjoy a second cup every day. The mildness is a nice change. I am able to use a double scoop of ground coffee for one strong cup in my Capresso machine which probably means i'll go through the bag faster but when it tastes this good I don't mind. There's no turning back once you've tasted this. I'm hooked.

Best Organic and Fresh
I got my wife an espresso maker for Christmas this past year and of the three types of coffee grounds she has tried, these are her favorite. The freshness is amazing, it isn't overly acidic, but it is strong. Perfect roast for Americanos which are her and I's favorite drinks to make. Also perfect for lattes if that is what you like.
