Golf Strata Complete Golf Set (Men's and Women's)

Bought this as my first golf set. Seem to be great clubs so far. Have the right clubs to get you going- you can always buy more along the way. Looks great too! Bag has plenty of pockets for storing your stuff as well!

Let me first start off by saying that for the price and what you are buying; you cant beat it. I ordered mine when they were $200 and I played my first course yesterday with them. This is my review as a beginner keep in mind:Look and Feel:Visually, these clubs are simple and do not have a lot of flare to them but that is something I like. There is no Callaway branding on them and the bag simply has Strata on the side. Not a problem for me, but I know that was a complaint among avid golfers. The clubs I received are sturdy and feel okay in the grip. The grips are comprised of this rubber like material and I found initially as I was testing them out at the driving range, my grip would slip as my hands got clammy. Wearing a glove fixed this issue when I played on the course but it is something to keep in mind when you buy them.Use on the Course:The driver I have problems with but that is most likely due to that I am a beginner. The irons are pretty standard and work as intended. The 5 Hybrid club really shines though and I found that after driving, this was my go to to get the ball on the green. The putter is okay, I have used others that feel better to me as I used them. This obviously is preference based and others may find the putter to be great. I will probably upgrade the putter.Overall:Overall, I highly recommend these clubs as a great starter set. The driver and 5H are forgiving for the beginner which is great so that the beginner, like me, can improve their game without much cost to the game on the course. For the money, you cannot escape the great value that come with these clubs. As a beginner to the game, I give the clubs a 5/5 and highly recommend.

To all the people complaining that this set isn't made by Callaway, do some research! A quick google search on these clubs will tell you they aren't made by Callaway, they are just distributed by Callaway.To those complaining about durability; for some of you, I'd suggest only hitting golf balls with the clubs... Or maybe don't try your best Happy Gilmore impression. It's pretty obvious from some photos that it wasn't a golf ball or average golf swing that caused that much damage.Consider what you're paying and what you're getting here. This is a BEGINNER'S SET! A driver alone is $400 and up from one of the "big 5" manufacturers, and that's not including a bag, set of irons, woods, and putter. Highly doubt many beginners are ready to drop $3k on a full set of PING clubs.Like with any product, you're going to have some bad and some good.All things considered this is a great set for the price.Driver: Good - Isn't going to last forever. If you're pushing pro swing speeds, you'll probably just destroy this driver after a few rounds or less. Otherwise, forgiving, well balanced, durable enough for the average player.3 wood/5h: Good - 5h does everything you need it to. 3 wood may have similar problems as driver.Irons: Amazing! - Very sturdy, forgiving, great ball flight.Putter: Good - Basic blade with ball alignment. Yes, the bottom gets scuffed. Sorry to burst your bubble, but clubs are going to show signs of wear when used...Bag/club covers: Great - lightweight, plenty of storage. Better than anyone is willing to give credit for. Covers aren't anything special, but good enough and aesthetically pleasing.

I haven’t golfed in 25 years. These clubs are amazing! The 5 wood is an animal to get you out of trouble or off the fairways. You will need maybe a wedge or specialty club in the futureBut great clubs great bag with the self standing legs. Great price

Just recently started playing golf and didn’t want to break the bank on clubs until I got better or made sure I really liked the game.This is a great beginner set of clubs! The bag is nice and light and seems to be good quality. The irons are actually pretty good especially considering the price and have a good feel to them. As a beginner I like them better than my son’s Ping Tour irons! The driver is not bad to begin with. The 3 wood is ok. I like the 5 hybrid(I hit pretty well with it!) The putter could be better. Feels kinda dead to me. But for under $250 I can’t complain. Overall I think it’s a great starter set and is worth it just for the irons and the bag. This isn’t a set you keep for a lifetime but will get you started and you can have fun with.

My nephew loves this set of Calloway and the price is fantastic.

Bought my first set of clubs. Been playing since a kid but never been super into it until my early 30s. Been using my father's clubs Taylor made M4 clubs and driving close to 300 yards.Finally decided to get my own set, wanted something half decent and not overly expensive. Bought this set and went to the range / 9 hole. These are amazing and I would super highly recommend if you're trying to get into golfing and yes I still drove 300 yards with the strata driver.Amazing product, good job Callaway.
