Nice depth of color, Nice texture. I
using color in Sumi-e is new for me, but these beautiful ink stinks are taking me by the hand to explore the new wonders. I love these sticks and believe they are worth the extra cost when compared to other 5 stick sets.

Excellent color
I received my HMayart Quality Ink Stick Block Set (Colors) (MT009) and decided to try the red stick first. It was easy to grind and I like the color the ink stick produced. Since this was a trial I did not grind a large amount but I did try the ink on single raw xuan paper. I am very pleased with the results.

Superb quality
Just received the "five color" ink stick set from HMayArt, and immediately set about experimenting with the transparency/density of the ink on a variety of Xuan papers; it was a joy to see a subtle gradation of red tones appear; very pleased with the superb quality!

Delicate original colors.
Used it on sumi e paintings for original type of color. Beautiful. Delicate color. My students had fun trying these.

Extra pay
First off the ink sticks are really nice but they'll charged you about 5 times through out the delivery, so be careful about paying for this one. It turned from 35$ to 105$, please be careful
