Dinnerplate Dahlia Bulbs - Mixed Colors - 3 Large Tubers Per Package

The Dahlia bulbs grew very well. They grew very tall. I should have cut them back.

These Dahlia tubers looked bad when they were delivered. They were all separated and some were falling apart. I planted them immediately. Now almost 8 weeks later I have 2 small growths (5"tall x8"across) and one larger (7"x10). I expected at least one small blossom by now, but nothing is happening. I've grown Dahlias for years and have never had results like this. My old tubers were lost when we moved. I wish I could have found some replacements as nice. Never again! I'm adding to this review now (12/11/24) to let you know the lilies never got taller than 8 inches by mid October. I let them fade back to the bulb and moved them to a different location. Never even got a bud! I did plant them late, but expected them to at least grow taller. I'm hoping that this coming spring will give me the lilies I expected. They're now in great soil and a sunnier location. Although they didn't grow as expected, they looked very healthy. If I had planted them at the proper time, I'm sure I would have had better results. I'll update this when I have a positive result next season.

Large bulbs arrived healthy and after a week of being planted I’m seeing green sprouts.

I waited to post until I got some flowering. They are pretty but no way are they dinner plate sized dahlias. Also they are not the frilly dahlias you would expect. They are daisy looking. And two of the tubers are very small dahlia plants. Sort of disappointed.

Love them all of them grew two are flowering and one is on the way.

Product arrived on time and was packaged well, although the insert directed me to a website that no longer exists. One tuber was completely shriveled up and never woke up, but there was an extra tuber in the box so it evened out. A few of the tubers had eyes sprouting upon arrival. I started them on a sunny windowsill and planted them in containers once it got warm out. I patiently waited for blooms, and the first one finally showed up today. It’s a pretty color and cute flower, but very small and underwhelming compared to what I was hoping for. The other ones haven’t bloomed yet but they have all gotten very bushy, and it hasn’t been very warm yet in zone 4b, so we’ll see. It was a fun experiment but next time, I’m probably going to purchase my tubers from a more reputable company.

Novice container gardener here. Fast shipping, great price, They bloomed 1 month ahead of schedule. Love them and will plan on digging them out of container at end of season for next year
