This is an absolutely fantastic watch and a great value for the sub-$200 price point. The details are what really make it.The highlights: sapphire crystal, thin case and butterfly clasp make for an attractive and durable watch that you can dress up or down.First, you get a very large watch face (the clear window is 37 mm, the case is 42 mm, the crown protrudes an additional 2.3 mm). For a medium size wrist like mine (I'm on the second to smallest setting on the band) it might be too much, but the relatively thin case (about 6.5 mm at the rim, 7.5 mm at the center) makes it wear smaller than the measurements suggest. The minute markings are flat printed, but the hour markings have some height and contour to them, which gives them a nice bit of interest while still keeping the overall look simple and clean. The date window also has chamfered edges, which gives it a more finished look. This is by far the easiest to read watch I have ever owned.Second, you get a beautifully domed sapphire crystal. The doming is subtle (about 1 mm), just enough to add some interest to a side view of the watch but not enough to make it an immediately noticeable protrusion. Reflections also play a little differently than they do off of a flat surface. This crystal has so far help up to a few months of daily abuse without so much as a scratch.Last, you get a fairly good band. Although it takes a few weeks to wear in, the material is comfortable and the butterfly clasp is very convenient. It has no problem standing up to water and dirt.

It has been a full month so here is my opinions on it.This was my first watch that is not part of the economy class and was a purchase for a dress watch.ProsFits nicely on my 8 inch wrist.easy to readLooks sharp and has a clean look.The original band is very nice, mine came with a deployment type clasp.very good quality control on the craftsmanship.ConsOut of the past 30 days It runs a 5 seconds fast. So in a year I would expect a minute fluctuation.It's really the only negative that I could give vs my preferences.My preferencesI like a push button deployment clasp. It's far quicker and easier to use.I am used to the second hand lining up with the second marks. This Tissot is noticeably out of line after 12 to 25. Then it runs strait.I knew this before i purchased. It's a documented trait of some quarts watches. So it's not a big deal for me.I would say it's a solid watch for in it's price range with a classic look.

The watch is nice and solid, but the strip is too hard

I was looking for an affordable watch akin to the piece Keanu Reeves wears in John Wick. This is what I settled on. Sterile dial; clean, elegant, and simple. Wears pretty big at 42, I think it would be perfect at 39/40, but still fits nicely on my 7 inch wrist. Love the leather band and the deployment clasp. It's a very rich, deep, dark brown that I think is suitable to match with either black or brown clothing. Feels very high quality and light weight. It's also nice to have a quartz dress watch, because for me I use it infrequently, but can just set it and leave it, which is a nice plus.

Really nice and simple watch , but it will break within a year :/

Bought this for my husband, it looks beautiful and stylish, and I expect the quality of Tissot, even though I cannot rate that yet since we haven't had this product long enough. This watch is slightly bigger than the average men's watch, so if you don't like that, opt for another model. The watch is extraordinary, quite hip, yet stylish and sophisticated. My husband likes it very much (as much as guys can like stylish watches...). Andrea

Wrong shipment. Ten days to receive from prime

I wear suit and tie everyday at the office. This watch is a perfect match for my daily outfit at work. Is thin enough so dress shirts fall over it easily. Classy does not mean expensive and this is a real example of it.
