Great drive, great performance
I had never heard of this brand, but I took a chance and I’m very satisfied. Product performed better than expected. Very fast read and write times. I will be purchasing again!

Works as advertised
Good value, has been working for months now. Unfortunately, my Thinkpad W530 wired SATA-II to the mSATA slot, so I can't verify full SATA-III performance.

I doubled the size of the SSD storage in my Dell E7240
I bought this Dogfish 512GB SSD to replace the LITE-ON IT 256GB SSD originally installed in my Dell E7240. I had run out of storage space on the original LITE-ON IT 256GB SSD. I used the free version of Macrium's Reflect cloning software to move all the files, OS and software onto the new drive. The advantage of using Macrium Reflect is that you don't have to manually partition the new, larger drive. Macrium Reflect has an option (look for it) to maximize the usable available partition on the new, larger SSD (twice the size, in my case) automatically - all 512GB. Not all cloning software packages can do that, including the one I originally downloaded. I also ordered the ELUTENG mSATA to USB 3.0 Adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VP2WH73?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details ) to connect the Dogfish 512GB SSD to a USB port on the Dell E7240, in order to create the clone of the installed LITE-ON IT 256GB SSD. Once the Macrium Reflect software created the cloned SSD, I opened up the laptop (easy - 2 screws), removed the LITE-ON IT 256GB SSD and replaced it with the new Dogfish 512GB SSD. Closed it all up and it booted up perfectly with the new SSD. Now twice the storage available, due to the upgrade. BTW, I then re-opened the laptop and installed the old LITE-ON IT 256GB SSD into the open WWAN slot on the opposite of the motherboard. I used one of the screws that came with the new drive/USB adapter to hold it in place in the WWAN slot. Closed up the laptop, re-booted and I now had an extra 256GB of storage from the old SSD available - showing up as two separate partitions/external drives. It all worked out to be an easy upgrade, using the above-described parts.

500Gb works well in Dell Latitude E7240 and Linux Mint 19.2
Just a little bit about me. Long time Linux user, even beta tester for Lubuntu, some years ago. I typically purchase a refurbished laptop with Windoze 7 installed on it and install a linux distro like Ubuntu or Linux Mint on the same drive and dual boot both. While I don’t particularly like Windoze there are a few programs that I use that are only ported for that OS.. So, I have to keep a live version of Windoze and will probably have to move to Windoze 10 soon.Anyway, this write up is not about me, but the recently purchased Dogfish SSD 500GB disk. The disk is listed in Prime which makes delivery a couple days and it did arrive on time. So far, I have cloned it once with my exist boot ssd and there was an issue on the boot ssd so the cloning was not completed. I reformatted the Dogfish and decided to Bench Test it for kicks before doing anything else with the drive. Here are my actual bench tests today with the Dogfish installed in the mSata bus on my Dell Latitude E7240. I have not decided if I am going to clone my existing booting ssd to the new Dogfish or just use it as a media storage drive.Disk or Device: 500 GB Disk — DOGFISH SSD 500GB [S0712B0] (/dev/sdb)Sample Size: 10.0 MiB (10,485,760 bytes)Average Read Rate: 528.8 MB/s (100 samples)Average Write Rate: 456.7 MB/s (100 samples)Average Access Time: 0.08 msec (1000 samples)People those are really good results, and I will be buying more Dogfish drives for sure. Best bang for the buck I have found in mSata SSD drives. Picture with blue screwdriver pointing to the 500GB Dogfish. Screenshot of the Bench Test results.Update: 10/24/19 Okay, I went on and did install Windoz 10 on the new drive and it is very quick. Now I can boot from the Linux Mint or the Windoz. Cool

What ever you need DogFish seems to have it.
This is the 4th...? DogFish SSD ive bought and so far they are pretty good for what you pay. I keep leaning back to them for all the work I do for others laptops and my own. This little guy was just what I needed to install WIN10-P on an older laptop that had a 500GB HDD. Now that HDD is just the the "D:" in a DVD/Drive bay enclosure.25-35Sec boot from reset to splash screen is way better then the 1-1:30 min. While I know that time is relative coming from my oldest PC @ 6min load time, YES I'm that old, my client is happy with their "NEW" 2015 Dell/'DINO' booting and running smoother and snappier. Thanks "DOG"...Fish!No I have NOT been endorsed or payed for this. I just speak my mind on products I like if they are worth it to others. This is one such product. P.S. I use the 128GB in my E6540 as the OS boot 2years now all is good.

Amazing speed, I reccomend this!
I've had this for a year now, it's amazing how fast it is for the size of a WLAN or WWAN card, I use this for my Linux drive in my laptop to dual boot Linux and windows, and the speed of the drive is amazing, kinda wish I would've used it as my main windows drive instead! lol! anyways I reccomend this!

Performance is good for SATA (not NVMe), but origin of the drive is questionable (see review).
When I received the drive, it appeared as a blank drive, no partitions etc, but I discovered that it actually had a complete windows 8.1 pro installation on it, which was bootable, once I re-created the partitions... it had obviously not been used, there were no user files to speak of, and the drive reported under 1 hour of power on time, but there was a benchmark output file for the serial number of my drive from "HD Tune Pro"... which appeared to have been run from a network profile. The drive has less than 1 hour of power on time, and works well so I will not be returning it (though I should), but it is clearly not a "brand new" item and I wonder if it is salvaged from a batch of unused "pre-built" corporate desktop machines that were not sold. I would love to know the actual origin of this drive!

For me arrived on time, and appears to work well.
I used it to replace TECLAST SSD in my laptop.Need to format it, insert it in external housing (i used Eluteng USB3-ngff(M2) ) clone old HD (EaseUS Todo Backup Free 8.2) takes a while then replace original drive you may need to create a your own partition.Speed as expected 554 MB/s, and appears to run no hotter than original disk.So far very happy, excellent value, time will tell regarding reliability/life.

Buen producto y relacion precio/beneficio
Lo compre basicamente para ponerselo a una rasberry Pi ya que las memorias SD se dañan de manera frecuente y pues me salio a un precio razonable. funciona de maravilla en el adaptador USB que le compre pienso comprar un par mas.
