I bought this to boost water pressure to three large sprinklers that I use to water our outdoor horse arena. The pressure from the single spigot just wasn't enough. The pump builds pressure and maintains it so that all 3 sprinklers are pushing a strong, steady, stream of water. Works better than I could have imagined. I adjusted the pressure setting up slightly, very easy to do.

It did the job well. Easy to setup, no issues so far. Not for potable water.

I use this shallow well pump as my outside water source for garden and lawn. I have run 3 sprinklers and a water hose at the same time and it works just fine. For the money and it's performance to me is well worth it. BTY my well has a 6" casing and is 22 ft deep. I've had this pump 4 days and I use it for about 2 hrs everyday on my lawn and garden. So far so good. FYI - Starting out I had issues with the priming the pump. My other pump I am replacing shutoff at 50 psi and then it kicked back on at 30 psi. With no instructions with the new pump on psi adjustment I had to do a little tinkering. The pump new was set at 30 psi and it shutoff at 28-30 psi. Hmmmm that's not right according to my research. What I researched out was this, for whatever your shutoff pressure was (let's say 50 psi) Your kick in pressure should be (20 psi} lower than your shutoff pressure. So 50 psi - 20 = (30 psi) So with my pump shutting down around (28-30 psi) I took (20psi off of 30 psi = 10 psi) I reset it at (10 psi) and now the pump kicks on at (10 psi) and kicks off at around (28 psi). Works like a champ so far. I will update my review after about 2-3 months.

Common sense should be all you need to hook up. It’s a pump that water comes in and then out. How complicated can it be. I purchased one several years ago to irrigate my garden a well. It was flawless for about three summers. Lost pressure so I purchase another. It lasted about three hours. Trying to figure out how to send it back because the packaging in on the dump.

Update got second unit installed unit, and after a week the plastic cracked at the seam same as the first unit... very disappointed because now I've wasted time money on parts and still have to buy a new one (a different maker) and redo the work that should have been done once Product looked fine until it was tested 1. It has a leak in the plastic housing looks to be a bad seam, as soon as the water is opened it sprays everywhere. 2. wouldn't turn on flipped the switch and nothing looked for reset switch but nothing... Waiting on the replacement hopefully the second unit will work
