I absolutely love NOW Foods Immune Renew™ with Astragalus Root Extract! After just a few days of taking it, I noticed a significant improvement in my focus and concentration. I was using a different brand of supplement for my immune system and was very happy with it except that it's more than double the price of this one. I decided to try this and was able to see if this works when my whole household contracted the flu a few weeks ago. I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DID NOT GET IT! I thought I was getting the flu virus when everyone else was coughing and going down with the fever and I felt a bit congested, but I just doubled the dosage I was usually taking (which was once a day and went up to 2X a day) and the next day -- nothing! Even my husband was so impressed with this IMMUNE RENEW that he started taking it too. I will continue using this IMMUNE RENEW as long as it works. My husband got Squamous Cell cancer of the throat in 2014-2015 when originally coming across Immune Renew. Long story short, it helped a great deal! After he stopped taking it and everything he quit taking, he'd get sick. Since then, we both take it religiously. As a CNA, I'm constantly around sick patients (including flu, cold, and now Covid19) and I never get sick! Unfortunately, just before Christmas, I got busy with home remodeling and kept putting off/forgetting to take it. The Grandbaby came and stayed for a visit (Unfortunately he was sick with a viral infection and ear ache, that my daughter said was just allergies from where they were staying). By not taking the Immune Renew, I got sick for 2 weeks (unable to speak and bed ridden for 2 weeks). Thankfully I was tested and it wasn't Covid19!! Needless to say, I will NEVER go without it again. Best Immune Support product on the market. As a CNA, I recommend it to everyone! As a Mom/Grandma, I recommend it!

This isn't really the products fault since everyone's body is different but I got an allergic reaction from using this product. My whole body is itchy all over and I got a bump on my lip and tongue. After I've done some research, I've found that my symptoms are from a reaction to one of the mushrooms used in this product. I did have an allergic reaction, but... Being as everyone's different, I gave 4 stars because many people who use this product seem to have a good experience with it. I guess I'm just one of the unlucky ones.

I started taking IR in place of AHCC because of the cost. My wife was taking AHCC and it seemed to really help her during her chemo (5FU) and radiation treatments for rectal cancer. The surgeon said the tumor had shrunken to about 1/7th its original size (my estimate based on difference in size he indicated with his fingers) and the post operative scan showed no sign of cancer with the lymph node biopsies being clean. Additionally, she did not have to take any of the prescriptions for the preoperative treatment except for pain pills and OTC diarrhea pills. AHCC and IR are both based on mushrooms with the IR being about 1/5 the cost. The only difference i've really noticed is how healthy my fingernails are, I got some for my sister and she noticed the same thing. If my immune system has improved as much as my fingernails, I have to be in great shape.

If you are not sick, you may not notice any change! So, do not complain. Take it when you feel sick with some cold or flu like symptoms and see it for yourself. I take this with INF-X formula and allibiotic if it's a bacterial infection. I do not use antibiotics any more and it's been like that for the last 4 years.
