Suburban 5099A (SW12DE) Water Heater

My husband took a little over a hour to install, very very tight space, I made sure I have the exact part, it was for my Puma destination trailer..it is working great!

Easy replacement

It came all bent and damaged

It heats water just fine.

Did not like the write up on Amazon page. It has the wrong dimension, and does not say it’s for propane also. Please change

My 2011 Landmark Augusta 5th wheel had this water heater as the original equipment. I needed to replace the unit do to a rusting tank that began to leak.I ordered this exact product replacement shown here. Product was identical, super well packaged by Suburban. Received it on time (2 days).No issues whatsoever. Easy to install if you are confident in electrical, gas, and water connections.I got 2 separate quotes to remove and replace from RV service companies. They both wanted $1500 including the part.This product is the real thing. Fired up first try and has been running perfectly since (several months). I'm going to make sure I service the anode on this one to make it last much longer. The original water heater never had the anode rod checked.

This new SW12DE is replacing my SW12 "DEL". There's an Orange wire missing. RV has it there on the old water heater. But not this new one???

$700 is a lot of money to pay for something that is damaged very disappointed
