Good top at a very good price!
I want to preface this post saying this is my second soft top install on an s2000. The first one I installed 4 years ago on a different car was a Robbins stayfast cloth. The Robbins top is nice because it comes with rivets (like $2 worth of aluminum rivets that’s you don’t have to scour your town or the internet for). The only real bad part about the Robbins is that at the time of posting this, is that it is $150 more expensive. That being said, this Sierra brand top is an incredible value for essentially the same thing. It comes with two new elastic straps but that is it. You will need to source your own rivets. I ended up using 5/32”(4mm) rivets with a 1/4” length. I also had a little problem with the area where the top mounts to the rain rail. There were 4 or so holes that didn’t line up with other holes on the top. The plastic that reinforces the cloth was stitched to the base was punched correctly, but the cloth itself was off a little. This was an easy fix, and well worth the savings. I fixed it with a set of leather/gasket punches I had. To attach the top to the rain rail I used some 1/4” Chicago screws. This is also a fantastic time to replace your fuel pump if your s2000 is getting up there in the miles. It is extremely easy to replace once the top and all of the plastic tray pieces have been removed. The denso replacement pump for my 2006 was right around $100. It is a simple 30 minute job doing it your first time.I would definitely recommend this top. It is even more amazing because I bought it as kind of a budget item and didn’t regret it over the other brand.

Glass detached from fabric
I bought and installed my convertible top almost 2 1/2 years ago, and per the picture, the fabric has now detached from the rear window.By the way, I keep a cover on the roof whenever it's parked outside, so I've taken very good care of it. The fabric seems to be holding up - the only problem is the rear window glass, which is of course a serious problem. It's a shame they didn't just use a better adhesive.

I am happy with it
This is a high quality top and overall, I am happy with it. Please be aware, however, that it is not an exact replacement for the OEM top. The rear window is smaller than the original window—probably not apparent to someone who doesn't drive the car every day—but, it doesn't seem to have much impact on rearward vision. The other two areas where I notice variance from the original top is at the side window top rubber seals and when lowering the top. The original top covered much of the rubber seal that surrounds the closed side windows. This top is shorter at that spot and most of the rubber seal is visible. That said, the windows seal and there isn't any leaking; there may be an issue over time with the rubber seals getting more direct sun, though. Regarding lowering the top, as the top retracts it catches a little on the headrests as is drops. It's not enough to get caught. I do notice the scuffing sounds. This may simply be because the top is new and stiff or because the cloth material is thicker than the OEM vinyl. The overall look of the top is very good and the cloth has a much richer feel than the original top it replaced. The new top isn't perfect, so not 5 stars; but, it is very good and I do recommend it to S2000 owners who need a new top, don't want to pay OEM prices, like the rich feel/look of cloth and don't mind just a couple of differences from the original fit. I did have the top professionally installed by a local upolstery shop.

Made my S2000 look brand new!
I did this entire job myself and it was a lot more involved than I anticipated but it came out great and the car looks like it's new. I highly recommend that if you take this on get someone to help. Fortunately I had no time restrictions but some of the maneuvering to get the top aligned correctly took an extraordinary amount of effort but I did it. The top itself seems to be very high quality and everyone who has seen it comments on how good it looks! Was a very worthwhile endeavor and the price is right! Would I do it again, yes but with another helper!

Great fitting top
This top is every bit as good as the factory top. The fit is exactly what I wanted...and it functions better than new.The top really sets off the cars appearance .I feel that l definitely got my money's worth.

Rear glass need’s better adhesive.
This is the second soft top I’ve ordered from Sierra and I couldn’t be happier. The material looks great and it fits tight as a drum 👍 4 stars because it came with no instructions and I had to go out and buy my own rivets. I only got one long strap so I had to cut it in half in order to make it work. Recommend buying your own straps if your buying this top.UPDATE 06/01/2024:The rear glass gave out on me today. The adhesive that holds the glass to the soft top came off unfortunately. Was hoping this top would last a while longer.

Tight fit, looks great.
Fit was tight, looks as good as the stock one does. After drilling out the rear lip rivets, you may need to use washers with the new rivets to secure the new top to the rear rubber channel; I did. Almost every screw and attachment hole came pre-cut except for two. Rear glass included defrost, just clipped the wires back to it. Once the top is installed it takes about two weeks for it to stretch out and close easily. I would buy this top again and have already recommended it to a buddy with an S2k.

Only lasts 3 years before canvas separates from glass. Avoid.
Was good for about 3 years then the canvas started to separate from the glass. Now it is a fair weather only vehicle until I can find a solution. If anyone out there has a solution please post it. Thanks!
