They are a bit big and bulky, but fairly easy to fit, and hold the strap securely.

..as others have said. Just throw the included screws away. They're made of a soft alloy and I simply would not trust them. They truly are rubbish.Reuse the existing ones or buy some anodised sturdier ones from B&Q, make sure the screw head is small enough to sink into the retainer to allow the adapter to click on, and use a decent larger sized cross head screwdriver too - two turns right, one turn left to get that screw in nice and tight without splitting the guitar body.

I have tried a couple of different QR strap “locks” and this is by far the best. The QR (quick release) mechanism gives a nice positive “snap” feel when attaching the strap to the guitar and it requires a thumb and two finger action to release it, so it cannot be undone accidentally. Attaching the mechanism to the strap could be improved, by providing a simple punch tool to enlarge the hole in the strap end which I needed to do manually. Not that easy to do neatly, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Also, you cannot easily damage the mechanism by standing the guitar on the floor.

Great product but the screws are absolutely horrible, absolutely unuseable. Pilot hole drilled, then gently started twisting in screw by hand with appropriate screwdriver, the screw started to strip, then it broke in half, then i started to remove the broken half that was in my instrument and that too broke in half! Using pliars to get the tiny rest out and that broke in half! Had to give up and drill it all out and use my own screws. Do not use this companies screws!!!

As a bass player these strap locks are ideal.I was tired of cheaper,squeaky locks with the pull nipple that always comes off so I decided to pay the extra couple of pounds for these.They are big,chunky,don't squeak and are heavy duty,perfect for bass.Will buy again for my spare bass.

I’ve been on the wanting strap locks for a while, I’ve read plenty of reviews on different types, cheap and expensive (some of the expensive types had some real shoddy reviews) The reviews seemed good For these so I went for it! It arrived well packaged.They are really well made, really sturdy and easy to fix on. I’ve seen in other reviews saying it’s easy to mash the screw head on these, So I made sure I had the right size Philips head and screwed it in carefully.Took less than 10 minutes. I’m so impressed so I’ve bought another set of my other bass guitar.Well recommended 👍🏼Update…Just bought my third set of these!

Great product but let down with poor quality screws. I solved this by using the original button screws removed from my guitars original buttons. These are great strap locks. I have these on all my guitars and fitted the other section of the strap lock to just 3 guitar straps. This allows me to use the same 3 straps on all my guitars.Highly recommend and very happy with these strap locks.
