The only reason I bought this product is because I stumbled upon a thread from an esthetician about controlling the smell of your armpits.I learned that the cause of the smelly armpits is the bacteria in sweat and I know you’re probably wondering what does this have to do with this product...lactic acid has antibacterial properties and is very gentle on the skin + using this every day can actually help with dark armpits.I am blessed to not have dark armpits however I was not blessed to have horrific onion/Doritos smelling sweat.The day this product arrived, I was quickly getting ready for an errand and I’m not gonna lie, my armpits smelled horrific even though I took a shower last night.I was hauling a** to go run my errands so on a whim…What I did was I got a cotton pad, squeezed out a pea size amount, rubbed it on my smelly armpit and let it dry...What happened next was completely unexpected once I let it dry and I sniffed my armpit there was absolutely no smell.For a quick second I thought I had COVID-19 cause I thought I lost my sense of smell but no that wasn’t the case I smelled my coffee after just to make sure.However I had no time to see how this would last during the day so I dabbed some on my other arm pit let it dry put deodorant on top of it and went about my day.By the end of the day I smelled like nothing with just a tinge of my usual deodorant smell and it was awesome.This product isn’t really intended or marketed as an anti-perspirant (it is NOT gonna stop making you sweat) but the lactic acid in this product is gentle enough to use on your under arm area once a day or twice however my recommendation is to start three times a week and then regularly use it.I am so serious when I say this is the holy Grail of under arm care because using this in the morning before applying my deodorant has changed my life this is my holy grail.

I have tried regular lotions, body butters, Vaseline, tallow, coconut oil, and other "treatments" on the thickened, scaly skin of my legs. This lotion does what the others all failed to do. My skin has not felt soft and supple like this in years. Its smell is a little less than my favorite (not horrible - just a weird adulterated shea butter scent), but the results are worth it.

My dermatologist recommended this to me 20 years ago. It's the only moisturizer I use.

I like majority of the Amlactin lotions for tackling my KP bumps, but this one would be my least favorite. It gets the job done, but the isnt anything “ultra” about the results. I would suggest getting the daily instead if you hate feeling sticky/greasy after application. This one leaves me greasy until the following day, but I’m still giving it 4 stars because it gets the job done.

after a week of everyday use on my arms for KP. It's noticeably improved by a lot! This is now an essential everyday product for me!

I wanted to leave my first impressions here since this just arrived on my door step. I have been looking for something to try for my keratosis pilaris. My dermatologist recommended trying this for my bumpy rough arms.I immediately opened and smelled and I was like “oh! Ew!” But couldn’t place the scent. My 10 year old daughter came and smelled and she said “ew!! It smells like boiled milk… or a dairy farm..” which is interesting because I know that can source lactic acid from milk.. I tried it anyway and the scent did go away after a while. Or I can’t smell it and I smell like a dairy farm…So far this is just slightly sticky, but not overly sticky. I already had lotion on so I didn’t need a ton of this product. I think a little will go a long way. I plan on using this daily for a while and will update on the results.

Led than 9 months ago I bought this for a total of $12.64 after tax... why the large price jump? I have to buy it, it's the only moisturizer I can use on my face without it feeling like it's on fire. Or making my dry skin worse. I'm aware it says not to use on the face but right after a shower, it feels like silk.I give 3 stars only because it jumped up over a quarter of the price in less than a year and the bottle is self is never even half full. Might have to stick with Walgreens at this point. It's actually cheaper there now, I'm just paying for convenience.

Great product for super dry spots on face, eyebrows, etc.
