Works great with my cotton carrier and with my Hepi tripod on my Sony RX 10 IV. Little pricey but worth it!

Lost my hub that came with my carrier. Got this just before we left on cruise to Alaska. No problems with it during hours of walking and riding in vans. Worth the investment.

It works as it should .

Thought this was way over priced but it ended up working great so I can use my camera in my chest pack and on my tripod using 2 different configurations. Still over priced though.

Updated Review: July 10th, 2014 It occurs to me that someone with the vertical grip for the A77 would be able to use this plate on the vertical grip's tripod mount. It would not block the battery door since the door is on the side. Updated Review: July 4th, 2014 Okay, I've gotten the cotton carrier universal adapter plate to work on my Sony alpha A77 by using an intermediate adapter plate, the Neewer PU70. Mainly, I'm making use of the PU70's additional mounting holes to allow me to mount the Cotton Carrier plate to the Neewer plate. Then the Cotton Carrier Hub mounts to the Cotton Carrier Universal Adapter plate and my tripod's Arca Swiss style plate with clearances for retension pins is mounted onto the Cotton Carrier Universal Adapter plate. To make the whole thing work, I needed to pickup a couple of Button Head, Socket Cap Screws(1/4-20 , half inch length ). Overall, not a bad setup, very sturdy. A bit bulkier than I had wanted, but a good solution that lets me use the Cotton Carrier vest and my Arca-Swiss style clamps. Suggestion to Cotton Carrier: * Machine the plate to allow for retention pins. * Add more 1/4-20 threaded holes( perhaps some non-threaded holes) so that the adjustment can be shifted left/right so that battery doors can be cleared. Revised the review to 4 stars out of give because this is a great piece of machined aluminum. But leaving one star off because the focus on compatibility seems to be on tripods, but they missed the mark with regards to retention pins as well as with regards to being compatible with more camera body bases. Original Review: Just got mine delivered this afternoon. Lovely and very sturdy. Just one problem: No matter how i orient it on my Sony Alpha A77, it blocks the battery door from opening. :( no mention of this on any website. Trying to figure out the best way to get it on without blocking the battery door, as i like the cotton carrier hub and arca swiss mount plate combo. Will update my review after i try out a few more ideas.

The Cotton Carrier Universal Adapter plate works as well and is as useful as I had hoped. I still value the Cotton Carrier's comfort in carrying heavier camera/lens combinations, particularly when prompt accessibility is important, and as I now use a tripod much of the time it is ideal. Of course it's an overly expensive piece of hardware, but the admittedly small group of us who have chosen the incompatibility of Cotton Carrier/Arca Swiss must necessarily pay a premium price for this well made work-around.

Perdí el tornillo original de mi chaleco cotton carrier y decidí comprar este para sustituirlo. El precio (29€) es algo elevado pero vale la pena por la calidad que aporta. He dejado varias semanas el tornillo anclado al cuerpo de mi cámara y nunca se ha aflojado, aporta seguridad cuando te mueves con la cámara en el chaleco. Recomendado

El diseño se adapta perfectamente y cumple con su función. Es una solución práctica que evita tener que estar desmontando continuamente el sistema de sujeción del Cotton Carrier para colocar la cámara en el trípode.
