Definitely does pump water quickly

Drained entire inground pool in hours! Drop it in water, plug it in, and watch it drain. Couldn’t be easier to operate. Can’t comment on longevity as I’ve used it only once. However, it seems solidly built. With proper care, I can’t see why it won’t last for years.

The item (Little Giant Sump Pump) was returned because the pump would not automatically shut off after the water was pumped out. Other models of the same brand do have this feature. This was not clearly indicated in the product description on Amazon. I have returned it and am still awaiting confirmation from Mtippin that my credit card was credited/ reimbursed.

Moves water back to where it belongs. The small size pumps giant amount of water.

Little Giant is the pump of choice for swimming pool professionals and home owners like myself.The pump is extremely well designed and constructed. I used 1.5 in. Diameter tubing sold by little Giant to drain off water from my pool do I could refill with fresh water. Water level had to get lowered because cyneric acid level was too high.

This is the second Little Giant I own. The first one I owned worked for many years in our Koi pond. I was actually surprised how effectively it worked for all those years. When it came time to buy a replacement it was a no-brainer that I would buy another Little Giant.

Great pump but be careful. This model does NOT have an automatic on/off switch. It runs continuously when plugged in.

I've owned a couple of these pumps. They hold up well & do what's expected. Will buy again.
