We purchased this sweater vest (red) for our son. He is 6', about 135-140 lbs. He wears a 14 1/2 - 15 neck-size button-up shirt. The sweater vest looks very nice on him. In fact, he likes it so much that he wears it every time he wears his white button-up shirt. (He is ignoring his other sweaters in his closet currently.) The fabric is very soft. And, being lightweight, he doesn't get too hot. We live in a cold climate during the winter months, and he has not been cold wearing the sweater. It is not too thin and not too thick. He has gotten so many compliments on how nice he looks, that his other family members want to buy the same sweater vest for themselves. It really is a classy-looking vest with a really great fit.

I typically read reviews before making purchases, especially when purchasing from a company I am not familiar with. I'm glad I didn't in this case because I may have decided not to. Seeing words like "cheap" and "thin enough to see through" are concerning. The reality is those reviewers probably didn't pay much attention to the product description, especially the parts that say "lightweight" or "fine thin knitted fabric." There's nothing wrong with the vest at all. Thin and lightweight but not transparent. It fits as I believe it is intended, "loosely fitted," and the color is as advertised. This is the kind of item you may wear in 60-70 degree weather. If you're looking for a puffer vest as your outdoor coat, then yes, you're going to be disappointed.

I bought this for a Cyril Figgis costume for halloween. It was cheap and it looks pretty nice actually. It's not top quality by any means, but for a costume it's more than good enough. Fits over a fitted shirt well, a little bigger than I expected, but it's always hard to tell with clothes. It's not too big it's just slightly bigger than I thought a large would be, but nothing to complain about.

I'm 5'10 and 155#, and usually wear size medium. I ordered a Large per recommendations in the sizing guide, and it fits exactly as expected. As for length, I think a Large would work for a slim-ish person up to 6'1" in height, depending on their proportions. Very soft material, comfortable even on bare skin.

I wore this every day for about a year for work, and I don't feel like it fit me the way I would've thought it would, looking at the pictures on Amazon. The waist was pretty wide, not fitting to my torso at all. Now, I'm not skinny, so I would have thought that slim fit would have at least felt a bit more form fitting than what it is. Also, the picture makes it seem like most of your tie will be covered and fit tightly around the collar of a button down. It will not. There is at least a couple of fingers of distance between the collar and the neckline and the V goes about a quarter of the way down the tie. Not a deal breaker to the point that I would return it (obviously), but I was sorely disappointed.

Got this for my Dad, 92 years old, because he gets chilly, a lot. Most vests are too heavy and have nothing to come up around his neck. This is just perfect. It is very warm, very soft, very light ( he's 92 so this is important) and it keeps his neck warm. Everything he needs and nothing he doesn't. It is a remarkably nice sweater vest for the price and he really likes it. So glad I found it.

I'm gonna look so cool at the office. My coworkers are going to be super jealous of how good this vest makes me look. With this vest on I am instantly transformered to Brad Pitt level if sexiness. I can't wait to show up to the office and be the talk if the water cooler while wearing this vest. Truth be told I am up for a promotion and I just know that the level of professionalism that this vest instills in me while wearing it will be the deciding factor in getting the promotion. I will be the greatest office ninja the world has ever seen. I'll be a judy chopping, copy making stealth warrior.

One of the only vests I have found to fit well at larger sizes, the entirety of h2h's selection of sweaters and vests fit just as well. Overall a perfect choice for bringing some class, or warmth, to the wardrobe of any larger sized peoples.

Original description said "thermal" which it definitely was not! I did contact the company and I notice they changed the description to what it actually is...a lightweight vest. I had to return it as it was not what I wanted but the vest is actually very nice. Soft,well tailored, and fashionable, I am sure it would be wonderful business attire. And I can't say enough about DC Trades customer service. Exceptional! Fast, friendly and honest.
