OntelSpeedOut Cobalt Damaged Screw Extractor Kit, 4 Piece Set

Love these things. Haven't needed this particular set yet but I've used them before and they are LIFESAVERS.

I bought this to remove a stripped short screw on a door knob faceplate. I followed the instructions, watched videos, and it did not work at all. Zero. The additional bad thing is I bought two sets, one for myself another for someone else as a gift. Now I've got screws still in the door, and have to hunt for another stocking stuffer since I'm not gifting something that is worthless.

I have a bunch of M35 & M45 drill bits. None look anywhere remotely close to the finish these have on them. I can’t believe they’re cobalt alloy. They may have cobalt in the weird finish that surrounds them but I highly doubt the quality of these. I bought them as a back up for when my regular speed out bits wear down or don’t work. Until then I don’t plan to use them. So who knows, maybe they’re good? The finish in them really makes them look cheap/fake and hard to believe the M35 composition.

Did not remove deck screw with torx head. Hole already exists in head of screw. Not impressed at all. I am a 43 year certified over the road tractor mechanic and ended up using my automotive extractor kit. I returned this tool.

these. I worked on this tiny screw for days, trying to drill it out. It was hardened steel and nothing i put to it would touch it. I figured wth, and bought this set through Amazon.In less than 30 minutes i had that little bugger out using the Speed-Out. What a relief! Thanks for a great product! It does what it says and is easy to use.

This is the only screw extraction bits that actually worked. Don’t waste your money buying anything else. I wish I would have started with these.

I was looking specifically for a Cobalt Speed-Out screw extractor set, because I already have a Cobalt Speed-Out set and they work beautifully. They last much longer than sets made from other types of metal. What was pictured and advertised is not what I received. Nowhere on the packaging can I find the word Cobalt. It says “Made of Durable Hardened Steel”, but NOT Cobalt. Come on now people! You have to deliver what you are selling. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer.

We tried to use the two small bits and they would not grab the screws too be removed. They just spun in the screw head. They have been returned.
