PyramexXSG Reader Safety Glasses

I'm 55,so I've had to start wearing reading glasses to see my tape measure at work,and I have to wear safety glasses. These cover both the strap locks on very easily, I haven't been in a situation where I've needed it,but it's nice to have. The magnified part of the lens are perfect size,so you aren't forced to look thru the 100% of the time. Highly recommend

These have been the best solution that I’ve found so far, since I need readers while doing furniture refinishing and want to protect my eyes. But these are bifocals, though, so the magnification is only a small part at the bottom, see photos.The close up photos are to show how they fit a female (I’m 5’3”) and how the foam looks up close against the skin. They were a little big around my head, even with adjusting the elastic to the tightest setting, so I used a hair tie to make it even tighter and it has been working well for me.They do fog up sometimes when I wear a mask, as they don’t fit exactly perfect on me. There is some “air” that comes in, near the side of my face.As far as durability, the foam has stayed put so far, and I’ve used these about 20x.Request to Pyramex, please make another type of these glasses as full readers, meaning, the prescription taking up the entire lens.Also if Pyramex could make a women’s specific size, that is a little narrower and the adjustable strap allowing for a tighter fit than how they are made now.

Description should've been clear about these safety glasses being BIFOCALS!!!Thought I was getting FULL LENS READERS but the glasses that arrived to my door were BIFOCALS!!!Unfortunately I need FULL LENS SAFETY READERS because I am a welder and have seen an arms length for 8 - 12 hours a day for work...I don't need them for driving, watching TV or anything else...Put them on for work... take them off when work is done... No need for dual lenses or (BIFOCALS)I really like the style... Wish these safety glasses were FULL LENS READERS and will buy again if you do have full lens readers with the exact same style and fit... That would earn you 5 stars...3 STARS for now because I do like the style and fit... but only use them to read a book in bed... Not what I need for the job I do.

I purchased these for my dad, a physician working with infected populations during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has said they’re fantastic for keeping his eyes protected during procedures, whereas without these he was struggling with normal readers that would slide off or fog up. He also said switching between the strap and legs was really easy. He loved these and even recommended them to fellow front-line physicians.

Glasses are too small and definitely not Anti Fog. Avoid unless you are playing area that will not result in condensation. Do not buy!

Seals off the eye nicely in dusty environments, the reader lens is large enough to be useful but doesn't intrude on distant vision.

Adjusted to their tightest possible setting, these glasses will mostly stay in place, but aren’t sealed to the face well and are subject to jiggling off. I don’t have a particularly large head, but feel these should fit with the right tightness at the mid-point of adjustment - but that is not the case. So, I bought some 3/4” tri-glide strap adjusters, dismantled the elastic strap on the side which lacks an adjuster by cutting the stitching that holds the loop to the glasses and threaded on the adjuster. Perfect fit now - these glasses are actually pretty good, it’s just unfortunate that they need to me modified to work for such a silly reason.

Comfortable and just what I needed. Makes it easy to work in the shop and still be able to see up close with the reading specs built in.
