Typically for men's jeans, first number is waist, 2nd number is leg (inseam). Usually, when just one number is listed, it is the waist, with a long leg that will likely need to be altered. I cannot comment on this particular par, as the are usually sold with 2 sizes listed.

You are correct the link in this question doesn’t allow for length but does have waist sizes. The same pants I bought allowed for both by scrolling to the right where the sizes are. See if there is another seller or link. BTW my son loves them so I bought him 3 in total

It’s the waist the length is usually 34 I bought some for my husband and they fit him nice! He said they just shrink a bit with the dryer but once you wear them they kinda stretch out they’re nice jeans! They’ve lasted him the longest of all the jeans he’s had. They should fit the way you want it
