Handy little gadget!
Bought this so I could type faster than using the controller alone. It only arrived today, but got it working straight away. Easy to pair with the console via Bluetooth, and still easy and comfortable enough to hold the controller once it is on. You do have to charge it, though you can do this while it is fixed to the controller, there is a cable included. You can plug in your headset, too, thought I haven't tried the mic on my headset while connected to it yet, though the actual headphones are working brilliantly and doesn't seem to cause any loss of sound or anything. The unit easily fixes on to the controller, and can be removed easily, too. The quality of how it looks is really good, too, considering. All in all, for the price, it's a nice little keyboard which works well and will be a real time saver.

Disables DS4 Controller when connected to Apple TV
The keyboard works when paired with Apple TV. However, the Dualshock 4 controller will stop working as soon as you attach the keyboard to the controller. It will work again when you detach the keyboard from the controller. It only happens to Apple TV (tvOS 17.4 as of writing). There is no issue with Steam Deck (SteamOS 3.5.19 as of writing).Otherwise the keyboard works just fine. Don't expect to type a lot on it but serves the purpose when you need a keyboard to enter a few text in a game.

Good
Does the job and feels very comfortable, also it's very light and have nice colour light to see the keyboard in the dark

A few glaringly obvious oversights
So I'll write an honest review because there are good and bad things about this product.I'll start with negative things and then end on a positive note. For the price point at which this controller keyboard attachment sits at, it's a good product. It seems quite durable, the keys are well made and everything working seamlessly once I hooked it up to my ps4 controller and got connected via bluetooth. The attachment also fits well onto the controller, albeit with a tiny bit of 'wiggle', but it doesn't fall of or even come close. Now to the not so good...There are some real oversights such as the backspace being on the left side of the keyboard. It is going to take some getting used to, and honestly I'm not sure it's worth it, it actually is a hassle to type with due to this. Secondly, there is no backlight, which means typing at night or with your light off is just a really poor experience, one which I really just wouldn't bother with. This device also disconnects if you don't type anything for about 5 minutes, and its not as simple as just hitting a key for it to reconnect, you have to go back to the bluetooth settings and reconnect it, extremely poor design there.Overall, it's cheap and durable but clearly the price point sits so cheaply because the functionality of this is just not up to far unfortunately.

For an official product, its not that good
For it being an official sony part. In partnership with Numbskull. Ot really isnt that well made!Cons:When i press a button it sometimes adds more letters than i require. Like oooouutWhen you press a button you can feel the whole pad sink in. So it not very receptive of yoir touch with no real feed back as yoi would with a keyboardAt first it was a struggle to fit into the space but after forcefully lifting the 3.5mm jack for the headphone, I eventually got it in place. But alas I dont actually connect it no more. As it is Bluetooth, so i just pick it up and type when neededThere is a terrible delay between the Bluetooth. When it is sat idle for 10-20 mins. You want type something real quick in chat "watch out enemy approaching" by the time its came back to life and you've typed what you wanted "wwaaatch ooooooout tttthe Enemy appproooching"You and your team mates are already dead!As an official product of Sony, it really should have a cheap LED light up inside. There really isn't any excuse not to have a 3p LED light. When the room is 20% darkened. Or you hit a dark scene in a game. You really cant see what yiur ttping especially colons and semi-colons and characters. Its impossible. I think thats one thing that is very upsetting. Id pay an extra £5 if it had that feature fitted!Pro:Its small, compact and can sit inside of your controller. (Although i prefer to jave it by my side) I like the portability of it.In conclusion, I would just buy a Bluetooth keyboard for less. As it would do the same thing. Probably better! Even a wired keyboard by USB.But i didnt want to be tied down with wires or a cumbersome keyboard. For me it does what i want. I can quickly (when Bluetooth attached) send message in guildchat (FC - FF14) instead of letter searching on the virtual keyboard on screen

Too bulky and keys don’t work!
Feels more bulkier than the PS3 version which went over the top of the controller as opposed to between the handles. (Obviously, this isn’t possible with the PS4 controller, as it would obstruct the touch pad.)I wouldn’t recommend this to friends to buy, because of the added bulk and weight to the controller. It’s also very fiddly to clip into the controllers connection ports. On the plus side, it stops you having to have a wireless keyboard laying around. It also has a connection point which allows you to connect your headset.Update: definitely not worth the money. The bulk and the fact that the keys hardly register when pushed means it’s is an absolute chore to use. Avoid this, and ignore my comment about about wireless keyboards - get one of those instead and save yourself the disappointment of this monstrosity.
