Is this a seam roller for vinyl floor installation?

You probably could, however, it is more applicable to the automobile sound deadening material which is a softer asphalt based material. Vinyl is denser/harder and I believe would take a lot of effort. I seem to remember the vinyl floor seam rollers had a little longer handle and wide/heavy bigger diameter roller.

I used it to adhere vinyl to plywood, but I expect it would also work for laminate
