It works!
Wanted to remove the grease and oils soaked into my car steering wheel which made it feel slick and shiny, and this did the job. Returned it to a soft leather feel that reminds me of when the car was new. Used it with a combination of dawn dish soap and leather reconditioning cleaner.... took a couple of cycles but the end result was excellent. This product really dries up and removes the grease and oil from leather.

You can't return this item - too bad!!
I had a leather repair fellow recommend this product - said it worked great albeit expensive. I thought I would give it a shot - followed the instruction to a T, researched it on YouTube as well and although the reviews were mixed, I bit the bullet. Totally disappointed! Worse, Amazon won't refund the purchase. Amazon is usually great at return but won't allow this return. Buyer beware is all i have to say.

Works, just be patient, may lighten/discolor leather
I left a pack of gum to melt in my bag with vachetta/untreated leather on the bottom. I tried cornstarch over the course of a week, it barely lightened. I knew I needed something a little bit more hard-core because it was the oil from chewing gum that was in there for over a week. I bought this product and used tape to protect the non-affected areas and that was a mistake because when I applied the product, it pooled underneath the tape and caused those areas to lighten more than the others. I reapplied this about 5 to 7 times outside on my balcony because apparently the fumes are toxic and I also wore a mask and gloves. It did a great job in sucking up the oil deep from the leather and bringing it to the surface. I then used light sandpaper to buff out the dark marks which revealed lighter leather underneath, and then I afterwards applied BICK leather cleaner and conditioner. The mark is still there, but it is way better than before. I’m happy with the results untreated. Vachetta Leather will always have some sort of marks on it and it will never be perfect. This product works, just be patient, you’ll probably need several uses of it.

Be patient
To explain what my goal was, I had a dark stain on one end of my "football tone" leather sofa which might've been from car grease. I tried different applicators before with no luck. I had seen this product lift up a grease stain on video and figured, why not try since this was my final option. I followed the directions from that video and on the spray can with no results the first time. But I tried again and again, until I noticed the area appearing back to its original color. I wished I had taken before pics but I'm overall happy with the results. In that trial video, that spot only took 2 applications, but my spot required about 7 or 8 applications. I lost count honestly. I just know the can is almost empty. All I can say is keep trying, but do take caution because it can over-lighten the color if you get carried away. The stain in the picture was in the corner and it was black-like. Now, it's almost back to its original color. Some areas are lighter but I'm okay with that.

I would use this on light leather only!
Be careful with this product it will change the colors of your boots. It somewhat removed the grease stain. However, it turned my boots a lighter color permanently. Even if you use the product just as directed. It’s not quite as simple as they say.

Patience is Key
I wish I had taken before and after pictures, but I didn't expect this to work. Coconut oil spilled in on my bathroom floor and sat on one of my leather boots for a good week or so before I noticed. I thought they were ruined - tried baking soda and other online tricks. I bought this as a last resort. It took several sprays and wipes (probably ten), but the oil stain is gone and my boots are saved!

Cannot return and did not use
Did not even try to use this product. If you look at the ingredients (which I should have done before buying) you would not want to go near it. Have a grease stain my leather chair and will just bite the bullet and have someone come in to pull it out and restain the leather. Not worth ruining good leather or putting yourself in danger without the appropriate equipment! (Ie a hazmat suit. Lol.)
