Have been using IQAir for decades. Love these air filters . They do help a lot in removing dust and allergens in the air. I like the sound of the fan blowing it’s not too loud just enough so it helps me sleep . I have tried the knock off’s and they work but not as well as the name brand. The name brand filter is better than putting up with all the vibrating and weird noises coming from the knock off’s. The filters are easy to pop in the tray the problem is getting the tray back in the machine. The IQAir does a great job of removing odor as we live in an area with many orchards and they like to burn their prunings which drive my allergies crazy. I recommend the name brand over the knock off. They last longer and you don’t have to put up with all the weird stuff that wakes you up in the middle of the night.

Great replacement filter for our IQ air. Arrived quickly and foot in place perfectly.

Just replaced the PreMax filter for the first time. It was pretty easy after watching the video. It fits well, works well. After the reset, it showed 9,152 hours of life. We run the unit 24/7 at speed 2 or 3, so that’s about 381 days. That timing was about right, the filter warning came on over a year after our purchase. Our old filter didn’t look as dirty as the ones others showed here, so maybe we replaced it a little early? Didn’t want to take a chance, so we still replaced it. These filters are a bit pricey, but for perspective, we replace our AC filter (MERV 8) every two months, so those actually cost more than this one. It’s still cheaper to replace filters regularly than to fix any motor. Overall, since this filter lasts a year, it comes out to about $6.25 per month, which feels pretty reasonable for clean air all year round. The only problem with ordering is the subscription max option is 6 months. Why isn’t there a 12-month or 18-month option?

The build quality is what I've come to expect from IQAir products, and installation is straightforward when it's time for replacement. Dislikes: The biggest drawback is the price. While the filter performs well, replacement costs add up quickly, especially when combined with the other filters required to maintain the system. The quality and effectiveness are there, but the overall cost of ownership is substantial. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars – High-quality filtration and easy replacement, but the expensive replacement filters make ongoing maintenance costly.
