This makes a lovely brew! ☕️
Our old (and excellent) Dolce Gusto machine recently broke down after many years of daily use. Our early morning, and mid-afternoon coffee rituals are very important to my wife and I, so I didn’t want to make any rash decisions when seeking a replacement. I’ll admit that I probably spent more time than necessary looking at the pros and cons of all those available - but an important decision had to be made! I’m nearly as fussy as my wife in these matters, so in all honesty I didn’t find what I would call the ‘perfect’ coffee maker. One ‘con’ that seems to affect most of those available is their all plastic body construction - that of course doesn’t affect the quality of the coffee they produce, but it is a slight disappointment to me because our other machine had a couple of chromed steel covers and fittings, which gave it a classy appearance. Anyway, it appeared that unless I wanted to shell out a few hundred quid for an all dancing, all singing ‘bean to cup’ coffee machine, I wasn’t going to get a maker with any shiny, sparkly metal on it. ☹️ Anyway, with our budget of £100, we eventually chose this model from Krups, and we’re very happy with it. After using it for a week, these are our observations:1. The machine is VERY EASY to use!2. It has a tank that does not have to be removed when filling it.3. The tank holds enough water to make 4 decent sized cups of coffee.4. It doesn’t take up much room, and sits nicely beneath our kitchen cabinets.5. It has an adjustable height platform - so you can use any size cup/mug.6. It features a high pressure delivery system - so the coffee comes out creamy and frothy.7. Our coffee is made SUPER FAST!8. It’s an attractive, modern design, and EASY to keep clean!9. If accidentally left on it will switch off after 5 minutes - saving electricity.By the way, if you’re like me and don’t like reading the instructions, I recommend you go on YouTube and type in: ‘Set up your NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Infinissima coffee machine by Krups.’ Thats an official video, which clearly demonstrates how to prepare and use your new machine. It’s worth mentioning that this has a RRP of £99.99, however we got ours off Amazon for £69.85, which is a very good saving indeed - so happy days. 😊 Anyway, many thanks for checking out my review, I hope you found it of use.

Easy to operate and works well. Highly Recommended
My previous coffee pod machine was also a Krups and died after 3 years of daily use. That model, a gift from my daughter, was rather expensive to replace so I went for this model. Why? Good reviews, a trusted (by me) name and it used the same pods which I found to be perfect for me.I’ve now had this for a week or so and use it daily. I didn’t need to read the manual to set it up, but did anyway, and it was well written and would make it easy for a new user.My first impressions were - it’s excellent, and they haven’t changed at all since. It makes perfect coffee every time and I am very pleased with it and the coffee results.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A brilliant machine
A manual machine that is very, very easy to use. One or two reviewers talk about no water flowing even though the machine is trying to operate but I believe it’s just a case of ensuring the water jug is correctly placed. As you place the water jug watch for a small bubble of air escaping up through the water and when you replace the lid just check to ensure it is snug all the way round. If there’s no bubble or the lid is skew wiff then the water will not flow. It sounds a problem but it’s not, once you realise and fix it, you make sure it doesn’t happen again. We bought a range of capsules to try and in all honesty we were not disappointed with any of them. Dulce-Gusto Cafe au Lait, Cafe au Lait Intense, Flat White, Coconut Flat White, Chococino, Starbucks Latte…. the list goes on and on. Most of them are around 25p a cup…but one or two nearer 50p.It’s quick, easy and other than the cups there is nothing to wash or wipe up. The jug holds around three cups worth of water and with it being a manual operation it’s easy to get used to how strong to make your brew just by waiting for the level in the cup to reach your desired mark.Prior to this we had a Tassimo but we find all the coffees for this machine are far tastier. No hesitation in recommending this attractive little coffee maker.

Good replacement model
My last Dolce Gusto lasted well at 10 years so I am hoping this one lasts the same. A lot of reviewers don't like the fact that it's manual, this isn't an issue for me, I like to decide how strong/weak I want my coffee. I had tried a newer model but returned, one of the reasons being my coffee cup didn't fit it. No such issue with this machine, my cup fits with plenty of room. It's a bit noisy, but not a deal breaker. Water jug does feel a bit flimsy, other than that, it looks good and I prefer Dolce Gusto pods to Tassimo which are much more expensive.

It looks great in my kitchen.. it goes with my cooker, actually the only thing wrong, it’s very noisy Extremely noisy does sound like it’s going to break but like I said it’s okay for now will actually with the noise I did have the same one before and it broke so hopefully fingers crossed this one won’t

Large water volume
Lovely machine. Easy to use. Slightly disappointed, with a very busy lifestyle, that there is no way of monitoring the volume of pouring (an integral feature of our previous coffee machines) - so no choice but to stand with the machine whilst making the coffee, to switch off the water. Fine otherwise.
