Campbell's Condensed Cream of Shrimp Soup, 10.5 Ounce Can

Great soup especially for making Shrimp dip for chips. I cannot find it in retail grocery stores anymore.

I love this product! I use this as a base for my seafood bisques. I usually add it to a thick white sauce for volume, along with butter, milk, dill, and other seasonings to taste. Its got a subtle flavour when added to white sauce, but if you want a stronger flavour, use 2 cans and no white sauce. I make alfredo sauces for fetticinno if the dish has seafood. most recently I used it as a base for a seafood pie that I covered with cheddar Bay biscuit topping and it came out absolutely excellent.!! a versatile product!!

Ok, I saw this and instantly thought “quick sauce base!” And it was a great idea! I’ve made this a bunch of times now and the basic recipe goes like this: brown any combination of garlic PLUS, onions, shallots, green onions, in a heavy pan, in a mixture of 1/2 olive oil and 1/2 butter until they were DEEP GOLDEN BROWN, verging on BLACKENED over medium heat. Next add 1/2 lb of uncooked Cleaned and deveined large shrimp and cooked until just barely done (translucent) or (about 1/2-3/4 lb seafood shellfish of your choice.) Then added any or all of the following: chopped sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, capers, asparagus tips, The CAN OF SHRIMP SOUP, and heated it till bubbly. Pour the mixture over the oiled, al dente cooked pasta of your choice and toss with lots of fresh basil and Romano & Parmigiana Cheese. Quick and SO DELICIOUS!! Make extra because it’s BETTER TO NEXT DAY. It’s even good as a cold summer salad! Experiment with all different kinds of seafood/shellfish. Even canned clams taste great. Same with veggies. Just make sure that they are at least partially pre cooked before adding because the cooking time for everything else is so short! Makes an impressive meal for last minute guests! Just grab some crusty Italian bread and a tossed salad & you’re good to go! Pairs well with angel food cake and fresh berries & fresh whipped cream for dessert! If you like 1950’s party food: pair this with a couple pounds of mini shrimp, cream cheese to thicken. Mold decoratively using cocktail sauce to coat it, and serve with little crostini.

I could not find this particular canned soup in any stores near me. To my surprise I found it on Amazon. It was delivered dent free. Soup is delicious ~ I used it in many recipes as a creamy base with jumbo shrimps

I always have such a hard time finding this product in our local Walmart (or anywhere for that matter), so it was a nice surprise to find it was here on Amazon and I could get it quickly with prime. I ordered this product yesterday afternoon and it showed up in less than 24 hours! Now for those of you that are wondering why I may need this product let me introduce you to one of the best comfort foods of the south. I have attached a picture of shrimp and noodles.
