VW Beetle: Specification Guide 1949-1967

I found this book to be extremely informative and very helpful in the restoration of me 1966 Sunroof Beetle. I am keeping her all original, even the engine is original from the factory! This book has answered many questions for me and has given me insight for my next project.

Just for VW gearheads and future historians. Great reading, Ferdinan Porsche view, design and engineering with the ambition of Hitler. The birth of a brand and an icon in the car industry, struggles and victories of the little beetle through his life until 1967.

Great detail but no page reference. If you like discovery in pages of interesting facts buy the book. I would buy again.

Book is full of accurate technical details. These details help me upgrade my beautiful Beetle (Kafer) to reflect EXACTLY how she left Wolfsburg in 1960.

Lots of info on year to year changes which is interesting. I bought this as a gift
