Giro Synthe Adult Road Cycling Helmet

I only use Giro after testing multiple brands. The Synthe is the latest version I added to my arsenal. Great, lightweight with ample ventilation (living in TX, that's important).

The helmet is excellent and exceeded my expectations. The fit is perfect and it supports my head well.

Super comfortable helmet that is lighter and better fit than my Giro Monza. Was a bit perplexed about how to adjust straps because they do not pass through the back of the helmet like other Giro models. Called the help line and the knowledgeable person answered all my questions. Basically any slack is taken up on the buckle side so that the buckle is not centered under one's chin. When you look at the buckle it has a bend or kink in it to accommodate this feature. Got about 60-miles on the helmet so far and the fit is superb. Rode during the San Francisco Labor Day heat wave and it is definitely the coolest helmet I've ever experienced, almost like it's not there. The adjustments can be made so the helmet ride just above your head so that the air can freely circulate. What took me so long to move up to the Synthe? Also the finish on the helmet both inside and out is exquisite. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a light, cool, good fitting helmet.
