Zeina is such a wonderful poet!! this collection stirs the soul and senses. It is not just that she is an "arab poet" or a "Lebanese poet" but a great poet-- sometimes straigh forward and righteous, sometimes sly and subtle. This is not her first collection, but maybe her finest. If you love or like poetry, but this book! I got mine right here on amazon.

Great book written by a great poet.Zeina Hachem Beck is Lebanese, living in the gulf area, and this book talks about her memories living in Beirut, but it transcends borders and nationalities, an I believe every person living away from their home would appreciate all the feelings/love/grief and passion in her writing.Would definitely recommend this...
