Purslane comes out very quick on right conditions. I only spreaded it to soil and it came out! But covering the soil with a cling film or a plastic cover might speed up the process.

I love growing purslane. You can cook or use it in salad it is very nice for stomach especially if you have constipation. It's growing very well in UK wether.
