Lots of space, makes a great lunch box
Great "lunch box" for my boyfriend. Keeps things cold, more space for water and food and MUCH lighter than a Yeti. The storage tray that was included is an added bonus. If you put in ice packs and ice, after a long day at a mechanics shop the ice is still frozen to the ice packs after a 12 hour hot day in Colorado.

Wish I bought one years ago
Solid lunch box. I got a better strap that is meant for a duffle bag that I connected to the one that comes with it. I’m 300 pounds and I can still use this as a seat when needed. Keeps my lunch super cold and when I need it to it keeps other food hot. Very good insulation and good build quality overall. The latches are pretty decent too.

The perfect lunch box.
I love my new Engel cooler! Perfect for carrying my lunch and snacks. I bought the 19qt size.

Great buy!
I take this cooler to work every day pack it up with heavy tooling and send it up/down on a 300ft chain hoist. This thing is put through constant test of integrity and every time the cooler proves its self superior to other coolers. Not only by being priced better, but this cooler refuses to leak despite being rocked around violently. Wear and tear on this cooler only adds to its value. Perfect size for a full days worth of waters for 2 while still being easy to transport. Seeing a your co workers falling victim yet again to their ignorance of the life style Engel coolers provide is the only negative side affect of this purchase, but this is my cross to bear. Highly recommend.

Excellent cooler for use as a lunch box
I work a construction job, so this cooler spends the day in the back of my truck, 5 days a week. I bought my 19QT a little over a year ago, and so far it has held up fine in the Texas sun. The top has discolored slightly, but it is expected. The cooler has remained leakproof, keeps lunch cold for the day with ice packs, and stays cold/cool for about 24hrs. Personally I don’t use the carry strap because it isn’t applicable to my use. It is by no means comparable to a Yeti in terms of ice retention, but I wasn’t expecting it to be. A lot of people buy certain brands because they are the current popular thing, and don’t consider their needs before buying. Many people I know buy a Yeti, then hardly use them bc they are so heavy. The 19QT Engel is lightweight and easy to carry. I’ve carried a comparable Yeti cooler, and boy are they heavy. In the right circumstance, I’d consider a Yeti, but the Engel combines adequate waterproofing, light weight, ease of use, and doubles as a seat at an excellent price point. If I could do anything, I might consider the next size up from the 19QT because it is a bit to small when I use the dry tray.

7 years and still going strong !!
This is definitely a long term review of this cooler/lunchbox as I ordered mine in May of 2018 and have used it daily since that time as my lunchbox and occasionally as a small cooler. It performs fantastically as my daily lunchbox. I work in a factory that gets super hot in summer and I can put in ice packs and it keeps my drinks and food cold for duration of my shift. It’s very sturdy in its construction, except for a couple of issues. One of the plastic hinges on the back did eventually break. But after probably 4 or 5 years of use. They do make metal replacements and that’s what mine has on it now. Also, the strap on mine broke not long after having it. I ended up making my own strap for it and still use it to this day. As far as everything else, it’s been fantastic. I paid around 40 dollars for mine 7 years ago and they’ve more than doubled in price since then but so has just about everything else. I remember an older coworker at the time commenting on the price and how he’d never pay that much for a lunchbox. It been worth it to me even with replacing the hinges. That is one thing they should change is make them with metal hinges and ditch the plastic ones. You won’t be sorry if you ourchase one but like other reviews stated it’s not going to hold ice for a few days on end but for short trips or for a daily lunchbox it works fantastic. A great little cooler/lunchbox.

All but the color
I am a tile installer and I love this product it is amazing. Its great for keeping drinks stalked for my day to day. I just upgraded to from the 13qt to the 19 at I've been using the 13 for a year or 2 now and it's been a perfect. Most of the year it stays in my car stalked with drinks for a out 2-3days summer time when it's 95-115 it really needs a refresher of ice ever day or so but that's no issue when my coworkers are needing a refresher 3-4 hrs I to the day. Now I will say o ly downsite to the 13 at is it can hold a lot of water because most bottles have to be put on there sides that is the only reason I have upgraded to the 19qt my 13 at is still perfect and it's been a seat, a wetsaw table, it's been dropped, kicked, tripped over and bounced around a truck and a car. And Its scratched up a bit aside from that still last all day still doesn't leak keeps my drinks icy cold I absolutely love the only warning I have if your wanting this is the gray is a few shades lighter than it is in the picture I thought it would be darker this is going to show staining easier so if you really like gray grab it but if ur juggling a few colors between and silver is one it's about a mid level grey I wouldn't call it silver but more of a timber wolf grey I think thought I'm not looking at any of my color charts now I may be a shad or 2 off. All in all if you need a cooler that will be the envy of the crew withought breaking your wallet this is the way to go.

Perfect Cooler/Jobsite Lunchbox
I've been using my Engel 19qt Lunchbox for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely blown away by its performance. This thing is a beast when it comes to keeping things cold. I use it mostly for work as a jobsite lunchbox. The ice stays frozen all day, even in scorching summer heat. The build quality is top-notch. It's sturdy, durable, and feels like it's built to last. The latches are secure, and the lid fits snugly, ensuring that nothing leaks out. The exterior is tough, and I've dropped it a few times without any damage. I love the versatility of this cooler. It's perfect for storing food and drinks, but it can also be used to keep other items cold, like medication or electronics. The compact size makes it easy to transport, and it fits perfectly in my backpack or cooler bag. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my Engel 19qt Lunchbox. It's a fantastic product that's well worth the investment. If you're looking for a reliable, durable, and high-performing cooler, I highly recommend this one.

Quality cool box.
18 litre (19 qt) size, a little pricy but very good quality, so should last a long time.

Altamente recomendable
Highly recomended, i own 6 different coolers, ORCA, Coleman steel belted, etc, and this is the one that i use most by far. Very practical.

Good product
I love this product however one of the latches are a little stiff and make a creaky noise.

Sehr hochwertig

Husband likes it for
My husband likes this cooler as it keeps his stuff cool for hours with an ice pack in it. A little pricey but it’s not a bad little cooler.
