Excellent Tool for Early Readers!
I’ve been using the Scholastic Sight Word Flash Cards daily at home with my 6-year-old kindergartener, and they’ve been a fantastic tool for building early reading skills. The cards are designed for ages 4 and up, and they’re perfect for young learners just starting to recognize sight words. I was especially impressed by how durable they are—they’ve held up well to daily use—and the font is large and easy to read, which makes it easier for kids to focus. The colorful design is engaging and kept my child interested during practice sessions. One of the best features is that the set comes with ideas for fun games, which helped turn practice time into something my child actually looked forward to. Since we started using them, I’ve seen clear improvement in his ability to recognize and recall sight words. Overall, I highly recommend these flash cards to any parent looking for an effective and enjoyable way to support early reading at home.

A fun way to help kids learn sight words
Great way to make learning sight words interesting and fun. My kindergarten granddaughter was much more successful with playing the games that came with these cards than she was with anything else we tried. Great item

Practical choice of words and fairly sturdy. Extremely useful!
I really like these cards and for the price point they can't be beat. They are tougher than note cards which bend and tear easily. These do not. They are not as tough as laminated cards, but tough enough to withstand regular use. I've had these since February and they are not torn. 4 cards give you ideas of how to use the cards and which words are included (refer to picture- one picture is one side of these 4 cards and the other picture is the other side of those same cards), while the other 50 have words on each side. I like to set them out and go over them with my son. Sometimes I have him find the words for me, and sometimes I have him tell me what all the words are. I typically do around 10 words at a time and review them and add to them progressively. Since he recently turned 5, I add words by creating sentences with the words and any words that haven't been covered but are in the sentences get added to the list to review next time. I just write the words that aren't listed on the cards from the sentences on blank note cards.

Sight word cards
My granddaughter is very visual and these kinds of cards help her even though there are apps that she can look at on her tablet. These are the best way she learns
