Mobility Carrier Wheelchair Electric Scooter Rack Hitch Disability Medical Ramp 500Lbs Capacity

Have to test before giving a larger score. Will be carrying 230 lb electric mobility chair. Easy to assemble. Suggest using lock tite. Will have to drill your own holes for license plate placement. All pins lined up great. Pic shown without plate. Came with 2 small pieces of red reflective tape, added more of my own. After 100 mls. this held up fine, I have had no issues. 3rd pick is of bad delivery I was able to keep for free, it came without hard ware. My boys are building outside storage closet with walls. Fan for heat from house. Outer plug already installed.

Ordered on the 6th of July and delivered on the 8th (four days ahead of predicted date). Everything arrived in excellent condition. Although there are no instructions, I was able to assemble it in about 30 minutes using just the pictures in the Amazon ad as a guide. I really like the hitch stop feature. Once it is in position, tighten two bolts and no more wiggling back and forth to get the holes on the hitch to line up. An earlier review said that their ramp pin worked loose while travelling, but mine has a safety chain and clip that prevents that. Just received it today, so not able to attest to durability, but it seems to be good quality. Will update review if any problems found after some serious use. I will be hauling an electric wheelchair.

Once this is assembled it's an adequate carrier. I use it to take my mobility scooter and it must be loaded with the scooter backed on to balance the weight of the ramp.For a handicapped person it's nearly impossible to attach to the hitch alone. I will require 2 people to put it on the car and to remove it.

It works perfect for my handicapped father-in-law. We either attach it to the back of our truck or to the rear of our 5th wheel RV.Relatively simple to assemble, however, it takes a little time.Because it’s heavy duty, it’s a little heavy, bulky and awkward to switch from one vehicle to another. I use a furniture dolly to easily roll it between vehicles or to store in the garage.Very happy we bought it.

I purchased this unit because it said it was rated to handle 500lbs.I purchased it in July of 2021 to be able to carry my 273lb generator behind my 5th wheel across the states in September.We took it on a quick trip to a lake 200 miles away on all nice paved highways.After arriving we discovered the main steel shaft that was inserted into the receiver had bent down.The generator had been secured in such a way that it could not move on the unit.Dont waste your money!!

Pictures on the instructions suck but the rest of it assembled pretty no brainer although after months of semi regular use for items that weigh less than the scooters it's supposed to support we have lost bolts and nuts and the base has given in one area. As a handyman business loosing bolts wasn't the biggest problem and we use it for our gutter cleaning system and pressure washer so we don't lift those items up onto the truck. Not sure if the tires are the issue with the base giving out or if it is a design flaw but either way we have owned this for less than a year and had these issues so be ware of that

This was easy to install and I was very impressed by the strength of the structure it's very well made for the price I was amazed I paid so little it was way better built that others I had looked at for double the price will be recommending it if anyone needs one
