Nespresso Cubania 2014 New Autumn Limited Edition (10 Capsules)

One of the strongest Nespresso capsules available (or no longer available, limited edition). Only place to buy this flavor is amazon and or ebay with marked up price. Still come out cheaper compared to coffee shops. Great strong espresso with a blend of Arabicas with an Indian Robusta steam. Aromatic profile dense texture, powerful bouquet with complex aromatics and inimitable strength of character, but without an overwhelming bitterness. This is the highest intensity I could find (13) for the Nespresso machines. I usually make this by first making the first shot, then mix in one pack of raw sugar, then another shot on top of it, mix n enjoy.

Like all Nespresso coffee, quality was excellent. Tried to make an authentic Cafe Cubana, but it didn't taste exactly the same but still good. Ordering from Amazon versus Nespresso direct is a benefit though.

I wish Nespresso made this limited edition flavor a regular edition. Everyone loved it, we were disappointed to see it go. Thankfully we found more online and the seller delivered the sleeves unopened in perfect condition. We still have most of them as we don't want to go through them all. :)

This coffee is the best but Nespresso only made if for a limited time and they don't seem interested in producing it again... at least from my calls and chats in the store. Unlike their other strong coffees this one is not at all bitter and just has a great flavor.

I love both the aroma of this coffee as it brews and the rich, dark non-bitter flavor. It is my absolute favorite and I hope Nespresso brings it forward as a regular in their line-up as they have done with some past special flavors.

The coffee is fantastic....I love the Nespresso, and this espresso is my favorite. That's why I ordered 10 sleeves of them.....2 packages of 5 sleeves. The first package was wonderful.....but 6 months after purchase, I opened up the 2nd package of sleeves, expecting another 50 pods of delicious Cubania. But my 2nd package of 5 sleeves didn't contain Cubania....it was an assortment of other Nespresso pods. To say I was pissed off and disappointed was an understatement. I take some responsibility.....I'm aware that I should have opened both packages up, but they weren't needed immediately. A very expensive mistake on my part. Lesson learned.

We are Cubans so... the first time this Nespresso put out "Cubania" we had to try it. We loved it and then it was no longer available. I thank the heavens for Amazon!!
