CURT 13223 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Fits Select Mitsubishi Montero

Mine was for a Mitsubishi Montero and I must say it fit perfectly and it's done everything I expected to do

So simple to install! Mine came without the hardware, but I bought a return. I went to the hardware store and purchased the nuts and bolts, took the old tow hooks off, and this just went right on with no hiccups!

I ordered this unit for my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The fit and finish of the unit is quality. The hitch unit fit my vehicle with additional drilling. One I removed the existing tow hook I installed the hitch myself. I will say some PB Blaster on the existing fasteners and a breaker bar or impact wrench will come in handy. The spare tire had to be dropped for installation and has just enough room to be reinstalled in the factory configuration.

The build quality on this product is awesome..as soon as i pulled it out of the box i was impressed. You could tell it wasn't thrown together by some first time welder.The packaging was good so it didnt get damaged in shipping. not that i would think it could as its so fricking beefy.it came with all the bolt you would need to mount it and a instruction manual with pics.very easy install. took me about 30 minutes.. the hardest part is holding it up while putting in the first bolts.. (I did it alone but i recommend a helper)I havent attached a trailer to it yet. but i have no concerns.

If you have a spare tire that's underneath the car go for more of a rounded instead of the square.Personally I made it work, snug fit. I would advise whom ever to check your make, model and do your research it to see it will work for you, as mine was the only one available in the amount of time given before camping trip. Fyi my 4 year old Reese was filled with cancer after always doing my best to maintain it, choose wisely.

Fit right onto my 2003 Montero sport es. Primary use is for a bike rack. Takes about 1-2 hours to install. Depends on little setbacks.

Durable, only reason why i gave it a 3 star was i bought the used one on here and i guess used products get less hardware, was missing a bolt, some washers and a nut, but i guess you get what u pay for. Easy to find the missing hardware at hardware stores though. Other than that, great hitch!
