This is good for painting your room and even some cabinets if you want to Quality is there for primer it's just at the right price push the Finish is pretty good even if you had to sand it for some reason coverage is going to be good

This was complete garbage! Came half dried and chunky - stirred it forever - still chunks and grit! DO NOT BUY

good primer at a good price

This primer is for new drywall or coverage where you need it to create texture that latex paint will stick to. This is definitely not going to hide ANY kind of color (to cover dark, rich, highly pigmented, or warm colors, use “stain blocking” primer- trust me I speak from a lot of experience) without an infuriating number of coats. It’s good stuff if you’re using it for the right reasons/projects, but I can’t emphasize enough that color will leak right through it. Hope that saves someone a headache!

All the paint was all over the box and everywhere

I suggest ordering this paint as a single delivery item instead of grouped with other items. The can came in an oversized box and leaked all over the other items. Five stars for the paint. Not the delivery 👍

It costs less than other brands… but you’ll pay the difference in the amount you have to use to get the same amount of coverage and your time painting layer upon layer. Here is pictured a side-by-side of one coat of this Glidden Drywall Primer used over a painted wall (on the left), compared to a single layer of INSL-X brand primer (on the right) on the same painted bathroom wall. Seriously, comparatively speaking, it applies like water, so incredibly THIN— it’s beyond frustrating. And it’s not a true white… it has a grayish undertone. In my opinion, it is not worth the $15 savings… just spring for a better quality primer and save yourself hours of headache. I wish I could return this. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the packaging (can) don’t come damaged in any way, it was easy to open, and at least it is usable.
