3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer with Clip and Lanyard was exactly what I wanted: a simple to use pedometer that didn't require a phone app. I have had other trackers. One was lost; two broke; and another had trouble with the app and pairing with the phone. The last fancy tracker broke after 6 months and it wasn't cheap.So I figured I would go back to the simple pedometer but I didn't want one that clipped at the waist. I liked this 3DFitBud because the face was easy to read and it came with a lanyard. I also like that it came with a battery. I also like that replacement batteries are easy to find and not cost prohibitive.This pedometer is perfect for me. I like the lanyard and surprisingly, I also like the clip as it is quite reliable at staying in place. It is responsive to activity and sturdy too. I love it. Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

Nothing fancy, just a simple to use step counter with a reset button on the back. I keep mine on all day and take it off for bed so I do wish it was slightly smaller. You can tell it is on. Since there were comments of this potentially falling off, I put some anti-slip tape on the inside of the clip (where it would clip to your waistband) and on the back where it meets your waist. Thanks to the reviewer who gave this suggestion. This does seem to help keep it in place.

If you're looking for a no-fuss step counter that does exactly what it promises, the 3DFitBud A420S is not it. I wanted something easy to use without syncing to an app or fiddling with settings and this was a disappointment

I've used this for several months now. The battery is still going strong. The numbers are nice and big, I've personally counted the steps and found it has a high accuracy. It is very durable too. I've thrown this in my pocket with my keys, or phone, or misc items. It does just fine. The clip that comes with it is very easy to slide on and off, plus the clip is strong to put on your shorts. I do recommend it. The bonus is it is a straight forward pedometer that doesn't require any connections, sign-ups, wifi.. nothing. It is a straightforward pedometer and pedometer only that works great.

I was looking for a pedometer that wasn't too expensive that would accurately track my daily steps better than free apps available on my phone (as my phone is too large to carry on my body throughout the entire day). I love the size and simplicity of this pedometer. As far as I am aware, it does not upload the data or link the information directly to any apps or anything fancy like that, but that was not one of the features that I was interested in. I have been using it for almost two full months now and it is super convenient. I log my steps at the end of the day and then hold the button to reset it back to zero, and then in the morning I just grab it and clip it to me when I get up out of bed and it is as easy as that. It does have a delayed start (I believe it waits 10 steps before it starts showing that it is counting) which initially concerned me, but after a few times of watching it while walking I confirmed that while it doesn't immediately start changing when you first start moving, it is logging those steps and once you get past the first 10 steps it starts moving and adds those first 10 steps to the total. Anyway, it is a great simple pedometer at an affordable price. Very happy with my purchase.
