Is it a hand guard or proper chain brake that will activate an internal brake? Thanks

The hand guard is just that. However, to activate the saw you have to press and hold a button before pulling the trigger. Releasing the button for any reason cuts power to the saw and applies an internal brake

When will this be sent please, I go abroad shortly.

Hello, Thank you for the query. Unfortunately we are unable to advise on the delivery date of any items that have been purchased and would suggest contacting the seller direct to discuss this further. Best regards, Robert Bosch Power Tools

Where can I buy the appropriate oil?

Amazon sell this.... 4.6 out of 5 stars 282 Reviews Bosch 2607000181 Chainsaw Oil for Bosch AKE Chainsaws, Biodegradable, 1 L

We have the Bosch 36v battery would it be compatible with this?

Hello, Thank you for the query. Unfortunately our batteries have to match the voltage of the tool they are being used with. As such your existing battery would be compatible with any DIY & Garden (green) 36V tools and the UniversalChain 18 would be compatible with any of our PBA/Power4All 18V batteries. Best regards, Robert Bosch Power Tools
