La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for oily sensitive skin 400ml

I normally use CeraVe and initially hesitated over the price of this, but when I worked it out per ml, it was actually cheaper than my usual cleanser. What surprised me even more is just how long it lasts. Two of us have been using the same bottle twice a day on our faces, and occasionally on the body too. It has lasted us over four months so far, and there’s still enough left for what I’d guess is another couple of weeks. A little really does go a long way. For comparison, I was previously buying a bottle of my usual CeraVe roughly every three weeks, so this has worked out to be fantastic value. It also leaves my skin feeling amazing and I really like the smell. My daughter uses it too and we’ve noticed a real improvement in the appearance of her acne since she started using it. The upfront price nearly put me off, but I’m so glad I tried it. It’s lasted far longer than I expected, feels lovely to use and has definitely earned a permanent place in our bathroom.

I patch tested this product before using it on my face, it’s been 10 days since writing this, so far so good, actually it’s better than what I normally used, very gentle on my oily eczema prone skin, noticed the difference between how my skin was to how my skin currently feels, it made my face glide smoothly, cleared up all the impurities, I like the gel formula for oily skin, lathers nicely and spread evenly. Will definitely keep using this from now on.

I really like this face wash. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, and soft without making it feel dry or tight. It has a nice texture and is gentle enough for everyday use. Great product for the price

I have always been a fan of La Roche-Posay products, their Cicaplast Baulme is one of my all time favourite products! I was looking for a foaming cleanser as I have oily skin, and my usual cleansing balms were not leaving me feeling fully clean, especially in this hot weather! You get a lot of product for the price, and only need a small pump of product, it foams up well and is easy to apply to wet skin. I have sensitive and oily skin, and this did make my skin sting at first which worried me a little however there was no redness or sensitivity after a while, and my skin seems to have gotten used to it now. However I would be mindful if you do have any skin concerns as it’s not the most gentle cleanser, and can leave your skin a little dry. It has helped calm my oily skin, and I make sure to follow up with a heavy moisturiser afterwards. Overall I am impressed with this product and will continue to use it.

One of the best cleansers I have ever used. I wanted to wait a few weeks of using this product to review it and I'm so impressed! I have the worst acne prone and sensitive skin, and I was worried at first that the strong floral scent of this product would break me out, but my skin has been amazing since using this.

I use most of the skincare products from La Roche-Posay. I never used the facewash from this brand. So I decided to give it a try. It has become my favorite facewash now. I started using it 4 months ago and I haven't looked back since then. It is really good for sensitive skin as it says on the bottle too. The bottle lasted me for about 3-4 months. So even though it is on the pricey side, you don't have to worry about purchasing it for another 3-4 months. I haven't had any issues with it since I started using it. The nozzle works really good too. It is so smooth to pump out the product. The bottle is clear blue so it is easy to know if you are running low and order another bottle in advance. My skin feels perfect after washing my face. It doesn't feel dry like it does with most of the facewashes. The consistency of this facewash is good too. It doesn't feel too thick but just the right consistency. I am in love with this brand now. I use Vitamin C serum, sunscreen and moisturizer from the same brand and now adding facewash has completed my skincare routine from the same brand.
