can't believe they actually work
I'm very lucky i have good genes - i'm in my mid 30s without a wrinkle. Except from the grand canyon between my eyes that makes me look angry all the time that appeared a few years ago when i was going through a very stressful season of life, working in an office getting eye strain from the computer, getting an eye injury that took 2 years to heal so walking round like a pirate, and being a stomach sleeper. My 11 isn't so much a wrinkle - is more of a dent that starts at the top of my nose and goes half way up my forehead as though i've slept with my face resting on the edge of a bookshelf. If i run my finger over the space between my eyes it feels like i'm going over the bumps of the letter M with a large lump on the left from my facial muscle. I don't care about aging i just don't particularly like having resting rage face and the idea of botox freaks me out and it's expensive. My theory is if i can use something relatively inexpensive and non-invasive like this to help get myself out of bad habits now like sleeping on my stomach and frowning in concentration or , I won't need drastic measures later on. Application: It took me a couple of attempts to get it to stick as i assumed it was going to be like a nose strip when actually less is more. However the long edges peel up a bit. whether this is my face shape or lack of technique or what i don't know but i just stuck them down with a little medical tape so it wouldn't catch on my pillow and tear off in the night. They stink. Other commenters have said they don't smell and I think they must have blocked noses or something because once wet they smell like a peculiar mix of euthymol toothpaste, wet dog and cat piss. Once it dries it's fine but if you get the adhesive on your hands the smell lingers for a couple of hours. Wearing: I only used one triangle rather than the 2 recommended because i have a small face and that seemed excessive. the splint is effective. I couldn't frown. I put it on early evening to see if i could catch myself frowning as maybe it's a sign i need to wear glasses more often. My forehead felt weird. As though it didn't know what to do with itself if it couldn't frown. By the time i got to bed i didn't even notice it was still on Result: instructions say to wet it but i have super oily skin so it peeled off without water quite easily. If the light shines from a certain angle i can still see a little dent but i wasn't expecting complete miracles from one use but this is pretty close to a miracle. If i run my finger across my brow it's now flat. i didn't know that was actually possible i thought that was just my face but it seems some major muscle relaxing happened overnight. I think we're on a winner.

A good product that works to target specific lines. Smell not great
I would definitely say they work. I have one quite deep frown line between my eye brows thats really bothering me. It gets worse while im sleeping as im a side sleeper and my face scrunches. They definitely do smell quite a lot while the glue is wet. It doesn't bother me that much but can see how people find it offputting. My frown line is almost invisible when I take the patch off in the morning, but slowly returns throughout the day with me using forehead expressions during conversations or when im focusing. If you have very fine lines, a bit of K tape or similar works just as well. Id say this is better for deeper lines as it dries harder. Overall a good product and im only using one triangle per day, so should last a while for the price. I also appreciate that it comes in a small box since I travel a lot for work and take them with me.

Just about do the job
Firstly, there's no getting away from it: these are shockingly expensive for what they are, which is essentially just ready-cut triangles of gummed brown paper. They're not the easiest things to get to stick - I find I have to really take care to press them firmly on from point to point, otherwise they're liable to fall off in the night. And the results are temporary: as a long-term user I haven't seen any cumulative effects. So why do I keep buying them? Well, they do stop me making up with a deep frown crease between my eyebrows. And until I find something that can do the job better, or more cheaply, they'll have to do.

Temporary fix/ look worse long term
DON'T BOTHER! These things are a waste of money. I didn't want botox for my 11 lines so decided to use these instead. Sure there are reviews saying how these make you look better in the morning. The first time trying these I was waking up with a smoother forehead and my lines appeared less. I was pretty happy. In a few hours though, they came back..... Prolonged use of frownies every night and sometimes during day have actually made my lines WORSE, not better. I followed the instructions and knew I was applying them correctly. I asked a beauty therapists opinion and she said the resistance created by the frownies on the muscles actually will strengthen the muscles because of the extra effort it takes to frown, and this builds the muscle up and make them larger. Think of it like abs. Also, forget it if you're a side sleeper or toss and turn in your sleep. Frownies just leave ugly red marks when the borders of the patch are, and they take a while to fade. Cutting them smaller, even taping around the edges did nothing and in the end I give up. These things may work short term, but do not use them long term because you might not be happy...

Not worth your money.
Didn't like them at all. Too much work to apply onto face and then get them off. Not comfortable. Non strechy. No result.

Not an alternative to Botox
Pros - helps prevent frowning and squinting at night or during computer use, which in turn will maybe help prevent wrinkles and fine lines getting worse over time. Cons - when you take it off you are smoother in the frown line area, but within an hour the frown line is back. Also, when you use these regulary you will find that the constant application and removal of the strip will cause exfoliation of the skin in that area. Whilst exfoliation is not a bad thing, too much does make skin shiny and the skiny skin draws more attention to the frown area. I tried these for while and then gave up and had a small amount of botox instead, and wow, it got rid of the lines in 4 days and softened my forehead (baby's bum smooth). I will not be looking back. These strips will help stop you frowing during use, but will not relax the muscles down and soften the forehead area unfortunately. Save your money on this, and get some botox, because botox actually has countless clinical studies spanning decades to show its effectiveness. (Just make sure you go to a good doctor and don't over do it).

These work wonders for me
I have been using these for a week. The first day there was obvious improvement on my 11's. I have been under a lot of stress recently and my forehead has shown signs of looking haggard, old and tired. I have been using one triangle between my brows at night and noticed the very next day my frown was dramatically reduced. Results last most of day for me, near bed time it sort of reappears but not as intense as before. Using a double triangle tonight so that the higher part of forehead can reap benefits too. Have had comments that I look 'relaxed' and good for my age. Turned 44 last week and I think I look much younger than this time last week!! Very happy with these. I struggle to relax my frown by sheer willpower but with these on I notice I can relax it as the muscles cannot move easily. Very impressed and will be using these for as long as I can afford them! Easily removed by soaking a flannel and holding it over patch till damp then peel off. I don't use rose water, I simply swipe the sticky side under running tap for a millisecond and place it between my brows. Then I press my palm against it to smooth out my frown and remove my hand after 5 seconds or so, by then it is stuck in place. I then smooth it all over and go to sleep. Happy days. I thought I was going to have to learn to live with my stern frown but now I don't have to. Comfortable to sleep in, don't even notice it's there

Good for 11 lines on forehead
It is the best product to ease fine lines. Just wet it with ur fingers lightly and stretch ur skin a Bit and paste it. Easy to use as well

great but it smells kinda funky
These patches really are solid. don't peel off and really do not move once stuck on. ive noticed a slight difference in a short time of using them so if you are looking at using them for wrinkles then I would say definitely give these a go! however, I used these initially to see if they would reduce my tension in my forehead as I have chronic migraines and they def help with that too! only thing I dont like is the smell they have once they are wet. it can be a little overwhelming at first but you get use to it.

If you can’t use Botox…
Is it as good as Botox? No! But for my 11’s it works. I recently developed terrible “dry eyes” and stopped using Botox on my 11’s bc it reduces the blinking which worsened my dry eyes. (I’d wake up with Red eyes, not clear ones). This has saved me from waking up to heavy duty 11”s imprinted on my forehead. At night after I apply all my skin care, I blot my 11’s to remove any access skin care, and slightly wet a Frownie triangle and then glue it on firmly. It stays on all night (if I don’t add too much or too little water). And in the morning I have no 11s.! When I don’t do it I have the 11’s indentations. Yes it does have a glue type of smell, but I don’t care because it takes care of my wrinkles. I’ve read that some people use it during the day to retrain the forehead muscles not to frown so they don’t get those wrinkles. I may try that next. I have noticed that when I put it on earlier in the night and I watch TV I don’t move my forehead as much when they’re on because it constricts that area. Do I think they’re worth the money? Well yes if I don’t have to pay for my Botox anymore. But obviously , it’s not as easy as going to get the shots every three months. And it is a commitment so you just have to make it easy for yourself and have them right there next to your skin care. All in all, I definitely think they’re worth it. And if you’re using Botox and want to save money, I would use the Frownies in between sessions. I remember Rene Russo once said she owed her youthful looks to Frownies.

They WORK
I bought these because I read an article about how effective they are. I have 11s on my forehead though not extremely pronounced and I cannot believe how well Frownies work. It completely erased my lines the following morning after wearing them at night. The results are probably temporary but given the ease of use and the price I will use them every day for the rest of my life if it means no wrinkles and no Botox. I also tried to use the same ones of my laugh lines since I sleep on my side but I haven't noticed as good of a result in the AM. I have ordered the version of Frownies specific to mouth lines so I will try those to see if they work better.
