Touched By an Angel: Season 8

This is a series that will never age. Touched by an Angel is a series that is suitable for your entire family. It is wholesome family entertainment. The main message in the series is, "God loves you." It is a series involving four angels, Tess (played by Della Reese), as the supervisor who is training angels Monica (Roma Downey), and Gloria (Valerie Bertinelli); while Andrew (John Dye), the angel of death leads the deceased to the afterlife.They are assigned to different families or a person and attempt to steer them in the right direction. It's a series that will make you laugh and shed a tear or two, but all in all it's family entertainment.

With nearly half of the ENTIRE SERIES already available on DVD, you'd think the next logical step would be to release Season 5, right? CBS and Paramount has apparently dropped this idea, and will only be releasing "collections" of the episodes that are considered the "best". There are only 4 episodes on each set, some have been released on DVD already.I know I should be happy but I'm not. I assume this is for financial reasons (not like CBS and Paramount combined are hurting) and this is better than nothing but it is a lame attempt to appease the fans when nearly half of the series on DVD has been released already. Nearly every tv show known to man is being released on DVD, and they pull a stunt like this? I would say this release should not be supported, but I fear if it's not they will never release seasons of TBAA on DVD again. This is truly a disappointment, and that's an understatement.

We just finished watching all of the series of Touch by an Angel and were so disappointed when it is over. It was wonderful to feel like the hard times that we face, that we face them not alone. We know that God is with us, but what a blessing to believe that He sends us angels to help along the way.

I have purchased all 8 Seasons of Touched By An Angel and I will be buying from Amazon.com (No Merchants!!) Season 9, thefinal Season on November 19, 2013. Most of the episodes are ok, and some of them are not so good. As a non-denominationalchristian, it saddens me that none of or very few of the episodes dwell on the disbelief of Lord Jesus Christ/or GOD period!!The ignorance of not knowing your creator is truly sad and unbelievable!!!! Let alone not even having a relationship with ourCreator. Most of all of these episodes dwell on "Angels" but do not dwell on where these celestial beings come from!!! they werecreated just as human beings; the universe; and this world we live in was created. I wish that the writers and executive producersspent more time concentrating on who GOD, OUR FATHER IS; LORD JESUS CHRIST; and LORD HOLY SPIRIT!! instead of dwellingon "Angels" and leaving "GOD" out of the picture!! The greatest purpose of life is living it to the fullest within GOD's WAY!!!!! NotANGELS!!! (WHOM ARE MERELY MESSSENGERS)!!!!
