I originally bought this 3in 120Yard Black elastic band for a small DIY fix around the house, and it ended up solving one of my biggest daily annoyances as a parent. We have a California king bed with an upholstered frame, and my toddler’s toys — especially balls — were constantly rolling under the bed. It was driving me crazy having to fish things out multiple times a day. I wrapped this 3-inch elastic band around the outer edge of the bed and secured it with safety pins to the fabric frame. It creates a simple barrier, and surprisingly, it works really well. The elasticity is strong enough to block toys from getting underneath, but still flexible. One thing I’d suggest: use a few extra safety pins along the sides, not just at the ends. That makes it much more stable and keeps everything in place. Obviously this isn’t what the product is designed for, but if you have kids and the same problem, this is an easy and affordable fix that actually works. Hope this helps other parents who are tired of fishing toys out from under the bed like I was.

These are good but I needed a smaller band for the job. I did use them. I see them on the corners of my sheets to hold them in place and to not allow corners come riding up.
