AWESOMENESS, great for the cost. Gloves were holy before even putting on. Gloves 😂 didn't not last but one time even before wearing them. So for anyone out there wanting to get into this just note that the furnace is good. You should always buy your own PPE Personal Protection Equipment.

This thing was super easy too set up out of the box it's built like a.tank and is surprisingly big sized it's still functioning after a LOT of my abuse haha super durable and a.great use of money

I will preface this with the fact that I have my doctorate in metallurgy, this is not my first melt. I was really excited to be able to do some casting at home, and have had good luck with the brand so far, so I thought I would give this a try. I preheated the crucible to 500 for 30 minutes, added some copper, brought it to 900, let it dwell for 30 minutes and then brought it up to 1100. Melting of the copper started and I wanted to ensure it was fully melted so I checked again about 15 minutes and noticed re-solidification. I turned off the heater and let it cool to about 500C and pulled the crucible out. Picture above showing the copper made its way down to the thermocouple and destroyed the ceramic base plate. True shame.

Very easy set up. Pretty self explanatory. Only downside is that the tongs are very strong and I accidentally dropped my crucible on my first attempt. Once you get the hang of it, it really does the job perfectly.

Love this thing. I have used bigger propane versions and this is so much easier to use. Love the digital controls. Makes casting jewelry and coins so much easier

I bought this melting machine and look good but too small for my purposes but the seller is great and quick responding…. So 5 starts for him but I can’t rate the product since I won’t be available to used and I got refunded my money.

Absolutely horrible waste of money. It destroyed its self on the first use. I followed all instructions and it barely made one 5oz silver cast. The temperature readings are extremely inaccurate with 300⁰f differences from the output reading to smelting thermometer. Tryed using it today and it will hot heat, or run the fan. The heating element is completely destroyed. I got one use out of this and it only ran for a little over 1 hour. The only good thing about this kit was the gloves. Save your money and buy a better brand. Vevor is becoming harbor freight quality

I'm glad to see that they fixed some of the old problems that they hade, but the 10kg crucible they sent was completely dangerous. after my second time i used it , it totalt cracked on Me so beware it is crap and I was disappointed that they couldn't send some ridgizer for the oven so had to order it from another company and if you live in Sweden you also have to buy an adapter to be able to use it against the gas tube

Natürlich ist bei diesem Produkt unerlässlich das innere mit Schamotmörzel zu verkleiden. Auch sollte man nicht das Teil überhitzen. Der Schmelztigel nicht überfüllen hilt das dieser nicht bricht und eine entsprechende Unterlage zum Absetzen um übermäßige Temperaturpannungen zu vermeiden. Alle Schrauben vor Einsatz kontrollieren und nachziehen. Ergebnisse sind super.

Una compra ideal, funde cobre sin problemas y tiene capacidad suficiente. Aconsejo dar mortero líquido en la lana de roca.para que dure más. No olvidéis poner entre el crisol y el fondo del horno un papel para evitar por si acaso que se pegue
