will this kill pests?

It's a disinfectant.... When I used it I saw lots of small creatures (?pests)....not sure what they were....floating in the water after about 10 to 15 minutes. So I repeated till water was clear and I have no pest issues till now.

Does this kill Flatworms?

I found some dead after I removed the coral from the solution.

Is it safe to use if my tank has purigen in it as well? Purigen warns about slime coat.

This does NOT go in your tank. You use it to bathe corals in a separate container with a mixture of reef dip and tank water to remove unwanted hitchhikers.

Is this for quarantine and acclimating corals?

This is for killing and removing parasites and unwanted friends that can come on corals when you purchase them.
